    Thank you Amit Sir. What is your suggestion for non IT background students like me? Which course would you like to recommend for us?

    • @MusingsbyAmit
      @MusingsbyAmit  4 года назад +8

      Hello Anwar, For those students who are from non technical background should think about data science. Because a lot of part of data science is about analysis. You have to marry your field of interest with data science. For e.g. if you are a law student then you have to think how you can apply data science to law. That way you will have advantage. Now let us say some company needs a Data Scientist who also understands law then you will be the first one to be called. You have to focus on this field. Though I will say dont be afraid of learning technology. Remember we are very much ahead in our use of technology than people some 30 years back. So even if you have to learn a little bit of technology to become even better then you should try to do it because it will give you an edge over a lot of people from both the fields.

    Thank you! I’m signing up for the Automated Software Testing course. However, just curious if I need the Full Stack Developer course to become an SDET or QA Tester? Or will I need other courses like C#, Java, Selenium, Agile?
    Also, do the expert instructors teach live instruction? Thanks in advance…

    • @MusingsbyAmit
      @MusingsbyAmit  2 года назад +1

      No for Automated Testing you may not need to become a Full Stack Developer. Yes but as Automation Tester you need some knoweldge of how programming works. About courses. Some courses are just online without any interaction. Others costly ones also have mentor sessions. So you have to decide what you want.

      Hi Shivam, No you have to do only one course. E.g. Since you are beginning, I feel you should look at this course AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional
      Complete Video Course . This will give you the basics of DevOps that is required for becoming a DevOps engineer. The 1st course mentioned is mostly for manager and implementers. Rest of the courses are for engineers. You only do one course. To decide which course you want to do. First find a job online to see what they are asking for. Depending on that then you decide what course you want to do. Any certification you do is an additional expertise you are gathering. So first you should decide what job you will want to do after the certification. It can also happen that you want the very basic of DevOps just one part of it. Then you can also opt for just one single segment of the course. If you have more doubts let me know. Best wishes.

    Hi greetings,
    This is the first time I have seen your clips. It's very nice your explanation, how to improve skills for high paying jobs. Basically am an Electrical engineer. But I have core field experience only. But I have interest to learn. After that is there any possible to enter IT field. Or I work any clients through online.

    • @MusingsbyAmit
      @MusingsbyAmit  4 года назад +1

      Hi Mohan, Engineers from all fields have been jumping into IT. Because IT has a huge requirement. Let's say you learn to program. But you find out companies in Electrical Engineering who need knowledge of Programming + Electrical. Those companies will hire you fast. When you are saying you want to work online - I assume that you want to do freelancing. Free lancing requires two skills first is the technical skills and second is business skills to build a free lancing business. The most difficult part of a free lancing business is getting clients. If you can learn skills of selling your services then you can do that also. But yes for everything the first step is learning some programming skills. You can start with some basic programming language like Python, Java or .NET and then progress from there.

It is perfect for people like you who have spent many years in the industry and you feel that you are stuck. My course in A players will give you a lot of ideas on how to grow within your career. And it has nothing to do with which technology or which company you are working for.

      You can start with the latest technologies in Web Development or Mobile Development. To do Web Development you can look at Java or Python or JavaScript. For Mobile Development you can look at Kotlin or React Native or Flutter etc. Everything depends on your interest. I would suggest you to do some programming course that can help you get into the software development field. Coming from BPO you can also focus on RPA and learn whatever technology is used for RPA. RPA is all about automating processes. With your knowledge of BPO and combined with RPA Skills you will be able to do well.

      No, you are not starting from fresh. But adding additional skills, you are adding to your experience. Remember that it took a lot of years for Virat to replace Dhoni. VMWare is one of the fastest-growing companies in virtual machines and all solutions related to endpoint security. So you are in the right place at the right time. Whenever you have doubt about the products or tools you are working on then check the success of the company that made those tools. If the company is growing from one year to another that means the product and tools they make are going to be there for a long time. Those products and tools may change over time but the company will remain and your knowledge of their technology will also be valuable. So you are in the right place at the right time.

      Hi Anuj, Yes, your career in Automation is intact. You will see a steady rise in your career. But your salary is not dependent only on your skills. Skills are one part of it, but there are other parts I have mentioned in this video ruclips.net/video/L1dUZYesOlQ/видео.html and another video where I explain how the salaries are decided. Watch both the video and then think about the other factors related to salary. Then implement them. I am also taking a course on becoming an A player. I will make an announcement here at some point. You can check that course if you want to grow in your career. It will be launched in July this year.

    • @MusingsbyAmit

      If you are trying to get into some premium product companies then this may be true. But what you can do is go to LinkedIn. In that open the product companies of your choice. Then you check on the peoples page where are the engineers from. You will get an idea. The best way to find a job in such companies is to find a reference. Find someone in the company who can help you reach the recruitment team. Then everything depends on how well you position yourself in front of the interviewers.

      Sales Force is a CRM Application. You will be working on CRM projects. This is totally different from Data Science. Data Science is much more vast and deeper than salesforce. By learning how to use sales force you may not be able to do a Data Science project but by doing Data Science you can also contribute to a Sales Force project. I hope this helps. Decision you have to make on the basis of your interest.

So Yes, a certification can really help you to get a break in this field. During your BSc if you have learned Web Development and if you know how to build SaaS based applications then also you can directly get a job in Cloud Software Development and then you can do a certification. That is also really valuable.

Because that field is in demand and there are many things possible in that field. Other option you have is to get into Management by doing some courses in Management like PMP or Agile etc. Since you are 35 yrs you will need to really work hard and also have patience because you will be competing with people half your age.

      Hi Priyanka, If you are struggling with Java then you should look at No Coding or Low Coding platforms. Also instead of Java you should look at the .Net Platform. It will be easier to learn and master. Also if you are trying to learn on your own then find some course or certification where they have mentors and interactions. I have discussed two platforms in my videos. Here ruclips.net/video/YZ__Ua6GBN8/видео.html or here ruclips.net/video/Fq12oESz1Aw/видео.html check these two videos and see if those platforms can help you. But if you want to work in a certain industry you cannot base your career on one tool or technology. You have to understand how the industry works. Whats required to become successful. Talk to people who are in the industry. Find out what they are doing and whether anyone is using Pega Tool. Ask what incomes are possible. That way will be able to do better. But everything is difficult for the first time. You first learn Python from a basic book. Then you go to advanced. You can also learn it online here bit.ly/38JP4yt. Since you are in a final year even if you spare 1 hour to learn python skills it will be very useful for learning data science. Initially, all programmers face challenges. The average salary of 95% freshers range between 2LPA to 3.5LPA because of the size of the software industry. If you are a good Full Stack Software developer where you can prove your skills to the companies you are applying then you can get somewhere between 4LPA to 5LPA as Full Stack Developer. The most important part in computer science is problem solving. Are you able to identify problems and solve them using Java? If you don't know where to find problems to solve then find a Data Structures Text Book. In that text book you will find exercises given at the end of each chapter. Try to solve these exercises by using your knowledge of Java. That will help you grow further.

So you should try and progress in that direction if you are a recent network engineer. As Work from Home becomes a reality Network engineers may also have another big role to play to make sure people at home have the right networks. No job becomes redundant.
