I personally think he should spend a couple of weeks inthe WAFL... AFL is not a place where you can come back without missing a beat after three months out with injury. Its not fair on the other guys who have been slugging it in the WAFL for senior player to be parachuted back in. I mean, this is precisely why we have sucked the last few years, big names go out on long term injuries, come straight back in, do NOT perform and the coach wonders why we cant win a game... I dont care who you are, more than a month out, you spend one week at least running around with the boys in the local comp.
If Allen plays then Darling JWilliams and Hutchy will need to be WAFL. To be honest Hutchy needs a decent stretch at WAFL to pay multiple roles. Maric may be forced out too. Ryan is on borrowed time if he doesn't improve.
@@TrevorPhilipsBro Ryan has been really struggling up forward. I know he has missed footy. But he needs to compete harder and put on defensive pressure. If we weren't so top heavy then he could play out of the goal square and lead quickly like Phil Matera used to. Certainly he improved when he went into the middle. But he has been carried in recent weeks. Sheed isn't a tagger, so if he's struggling to get the ball then he should be half forward / bench. I understand Sheed has missed preseason, much of this year and previous years. But I reckon Gaff would be a better tagger than Sheed, if Simmo is determined to pick veterans. Anyway Rawlinson is a pressure half forward, I'd like to see if he has the rat cunning and fitness to tag at times too.
Better forward line with Oscar up there. Still think Jake plays full forward atm though. Oscars a great straight kick and can kick em' from the 50mtr arcs. So another good option. Just need our mids all fit and back to get it there.

What are you talking about? When Sheed couldnt play his role and the mid getting flogged, Ryan had to come and do it for him.
