As a Catholic I can see how this is offensive but I wish we could be this offended by the sacrilege we tolerate: homelessness, war, addiction, famine, unequal access to healthcare, poverty, lack of educational opportunities, sexism, homophobia, climate change, rape culture, paedophilia, racism, etc. If people of faith got this worked up about those things the world might actually become a better place for all of us.
