I had a cover band at one time. We did all genres of music. We did this song and I met the love of my life. We had decades of great times together. Sadly she was one of the casualties of Covid in late 2020. I can't perform this song anymore. It truly makes me cry, but I still cherish the memories it gave me.
CJ blessed us with one of the best voices of the last 30 yrs and he wrote/co-wrote beautiful songs. This one was written for his daughter. He was a GOOD man and a beautiful human being and soul. I'm so VERY sad at his passing. His songs will be forever on repeat in my heart.

I was fortunate enough to get to speak to CJ occasionally while they were preparing for a show with my friends’ band. He was a great dude. This is still hitting me hard. May he forever rest in peace.
I got to meet him. C.j. was such a nice guy I grew up listening to this band. Absolutely loved this band. They where such a great inspiration in my life.
Twenty some years ago, I was a huge fan of Firehouse. When they came to Japan to play live, of couse, I went to their show. After that, I talked to one of their staff, with my very bad English, to find out where they were staying. annd yes, I went there the next day and got some pictures with some of the members taken. Then there, I just don't remember who told me, I found out that they would go and spend some time at Hard Rock Cafe in Tokyo later that day. And yes, I went there. I met and talked to the singer and the guitarist. Got some pictures taken with them. I still have those pictures in my album. It is a shame that I don't remember their names and I don't have their albums any more. I was young and just wanted to meet them in person. Despite my terrible English, they, not only the members of the band but the staff, was very nice to me. Good old time.
