Crying my eyes out right now. When my wife passed in 2022. I dm’ed him. Not thinking that he would respond. Well he did. I just told him thank you for penning this song that reminds me so much of the love that my wife and I shared. We talked for a couple of minutes. He didn’t have to do that. But this just speaks about the kind of person C. J. was.

It's a sad day for the music world as we lost CJ on April 5,2024. Watching these videos brings back all the memories of listening to them in the 90s and even up til this day. I had the privilege of meeting them, I want to say 2004 in jonesboro Arkansas when they did the Monsters Of Rock Tour with Cinderella and Quite Riot. Such a genuine soul and one hell of a front man. Rest easy my friend you will be forever missed

Such a gorgeous wall of sound! I’m so glad I grew up with this kind of music! I always knew I grew up in the best timeline and the older I get I realize it even more. If you know, you know. Those were the best days….so much freedom, no screens(except a tv), hanging out with friends in the summer; swimming until the pool closed and then home to eat as fast as possible and then night games with neighbors. Wake up the next day, rinse and repeat.

My mom and dad played firehouse while growing up. When I hit 18 they divorced. I’m now 27 and listening and thinking back it breaks my heart they couldn’t make it work. Now they are single and unhappy. Wishing in my heart they never went the route they did. This song takes me back.
