      Hehe, good expression : "the gears turning in your head".
      Since it has been my daily job to choose suitable branches, it has become kind of state of mind for me to look for harmony between things.
      Thanks for the kind words about the music I make.

    • @udoaas2466
      @udoaas2466  Месяц назад +1

      I usually agree with you, but not on this one. Cold and hot are normal in my mind. Also normality is good and bad. Without them, a person would be just a lump of jelly. It's just that ... bad is not to harm a person, but to teach him.

      @@udoaas2466 I know you are right. Perhaps that was what I was trying to convey in a crude manner. This struggle is in my opinion what makes a man. Physically, mentally and emotionally. Life was never meant to be easy. I know for me this is what has forced me to grow. I think we all have a choice in most things. We can muster all that is in us or give up and lay down and die. I really appreciate you for teaching me and I can tell you have a lot of spiritual insights... could also be a little bit of language and cultural differences... but I think I understand.

    • @udoaas2466
      @udoaas2466  Месяц назад +1

      @@donscottvansandt4139 I think I understand what you mean now. Yes, there is a linguistic and cultural difference. Although the deeper one goes into spiritual meanings, the more people are alike, even people from very different traditions. And it is all the more difficult to make your thoughts understandable, or to understand, with the help of words, especially through written words.
      But I think I understood what you meant now. That going through difficulties makes us stronger people.

    • @udoaas2466

    what is the brown stuff you rub on the ends of the wood

    • @udoaas2466
      @udoaas2466  Год назад +1

      Hi Steve. This brown stuff is a water based stain. To tone the treated surfaces of the wood to the same aged appearance as the surface under the bark of the tree. I put it on all treated surfaces, not just the ends. I also apply the same stain to moisten the wood between sandings, so it's better to see where it has already been sanded and where it hasn't.

      I don't know exactly, I bought it at a workwear store. It is probably intended as a hood for the base of a welding mask. But it also works well against dust and perspiration associated with the mask.
