I started writing this piece about 2 years ago when I first met Amy. It perfectly captured how I felt about all the excitement and hope for a future with her, buttt we'd only just met and I mayyy have been jumping the gun a little; so I put it on the shelf to pull out down the track. We got married at the start of this year and when we came back from our honeymoon I picked this up and got back to work on it immediately. It began two years ago as me expressing my hope for a life together, so I thought it was only fitting to finish it right as that life became a reality. I hope you enjoy this sappy little song for my wife. ❤️

Cheers! I actually did try the neck pickup because that's what I was going for, but it had far too much going on in the low-mids that would have needed a lot of EQ. So I just went with the one that sounded closest to what I wanted and would need the least amount of work in the mix haha.
