The mom is a hallucination guys.
🤣 i'm not buying it quite yet! I think episode 5 will determine if she is or not since now it'll just be her and hughie going forward. we will see how other characters interact with her if at all!
@Bingetowntv Hugh Sr saw her so no......
The show dropped the ball om this episode, homelander should've brought his son Ryan with him to the basement lab. So Ryan would've learned more bout his dad's childhood and it would make ryan have less sympathy for humans after seeing how they treated him. That would've been a great scene. Anthony killed it tho, acting wise. Banshee is in my top 25 tv shows
Knowing ryan he would freak out seeing his dad kill of them and most likely resent him for doing all that regardless of what they’ve done
@@prettymuchslow True but it feels like he gonna resent him regardless as long as butcher is alive
wow never even thought about that! i thought the episode was already fairly perfect but that would have added some juice! ryan is already teetering between good and evil so that would have been really cool to see, especially seeing how he'd react to homelander killing everyone. would he have been scared of homelander or would ryan look up to him? such an interesting thought
If Butcher leaves the show I'll stop watching. It'll just be another superhero show without him.
it's really dicey rn for butcher! of course he is a staple in the show and it truly wouldn't be the boys without him but i'm not sure how he's going to survive this
Did I hear correctly that you guys are actually sympathizing with Homelander? Homelander is a serial killer and mass murderer many times over. Have you forgotten how he just let that airliner crash back in season one or all the people he just lasered to death because he felt like it? There is nothing sympathetic about Homelander. He is a despicable terrorist and does not deserve any sympathy or empathy. He was born a monster when he literally lasered himself out of the womb and killed his mother while she was still in labor. Yes the scientists working on him did some heavy things like testing him in that oven, but they were doing that to test his limits to try to figure out how to control him. It wasn;t done out of cruelty or meanness. They were no doubt scared to death of him and what he could do. They were clearly just testing him to try to control him to keep the world safe from him. They eventually figured out that the only way they could control him was by bringing in psychologists to work on him mentally. Again, this was done to literally save the human race from him. I think your attempts to equate him with the scientists who were testing him are mind-boggling. There is no equivalency. Sure, one of the scientists made a joke calling him squirt, but do you seriously equate that with what Homelander did to him? Homelander is a monster pure and simple as that final scene in the lab with Barbara and all those bodies makes clear.. Don't try to humanize him just because you think the actor did a good job portraying him and what he went through. He is still a mass murdering abomination.
Too much woke bullshit, I quit watching and couldn't care less
