Ryam Redwyne was Lord Commander of the Kingsguard under Jaehaerys I and spent a year as Hand, but it was a disaster. Criston Cole was the last Lord Commander to be Hand i believe, for reasons which will become clear and a reason why no other LC was a Hand after.
