The shit really happens... I was leaving about to go to work about 8 years ago. My wife had just left with my 2-year-old son. It's about 7:30 in the morning as I pull out of my house and up the road. I passed a young kid that just had a look about him. I could tell by the way he was looking back at me in my rear view mirror. My gut feeling was bad. I continued to drive to my business as I was pulling in. I was about to turn around and drive back and check on my house about that time. I got a phone call from a neighbor saying they swear someone just went in to my house through the back window. I drove back to my house super fast slid in the driveway. Ran straight into my house. The front door was open. Quick scan ran upstairs every single drawer every single door and every single thing that was closed was wide open and had been ransacked. Then I realized the dude might still be in the house. As I ran back down stairs. He was ducking out my living room window and ran by the time I got outside. There was a cop that pulled up and tackled him.... Dude was an idiot. He missed everything of value and he took a iPod. Lol. And bank of spare change maybe $35 worth..... Didn't matter. The cop threw him in the back of the car and I lost my shit. Went up to the cop car. Tried to get in and beat the shit out of him. The cop said he would want to do the same to him if it happened to him and his family but he couldn't legally. Let me pull the kid out of the car for a beat down. Long story short, the kid had a long rap sheet of home invasions strong armed robberies car thefts and he was only 17 at the time. If he would have done that in my family was home he would have died. My point is if you don't think it'll happen to you, it can easily happen to you. Believe me. To this day my family does not even know that happened. It would have caused a lot of worry. I chose to keep it to myself and protect my family. Last I checked the kid is in jail for 35 years.

Just following the logic of the woman in this video (and the entire logic of all of the gun-grabbers) to it's logical end: Gun Control is the philosophy that: "A woman who is strangled to death in her own pantyhose is somehow more righteous than a woman who killed her assailant with a gun to save her own life (and the lives of her children)."
The government isn't tyrannical. The people running it are. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. That is why the citizens must maintain some level of power over those in government.
Ah but times have changed! Being a victim does NOT come with shame. It comes with being elevated on a pedestal. Victimhood is actively sought out by those who seek significance (since they cannot do so any other way). Being a victim is the new American nobility.

The annual rate of gun homicide per 100,000 of the population is currently 0.03 in Great Britain. This compares with 3.6 in the USA, a rate that is 120-fold greater. The total firearms death rate (including suicides and accidents as well) is 51 times higher in the US than in the UK. I guess guns don’t make you safer, do they?
@@anonymous.anonymity. 1. America has a higher population than Great Britain, so population per 100,000 is irrelevant. Suicide and accidents are unfortunate, I'm curious about the suicide rate over there. Yet again, higher population over here than there. 3.

Just following the logic of the woman in this video (and the entire logic of all of the gun-grabbers) to it's logical end:
Gun Control is the philosophy that:
"A woman who is strangled to death in her own pantyhose is somehow more righteous than a woman who killed her assailant with a gun to save her own life (and the lives of her children)."
I guess she's planning on throwing her phone at them.
The founding fathers not only believed we needed the ability to fight against a tyrannical government, they believed we absolutely should fight against it.

Why don't law abiding citizens do something to stop the mass shooters? Do they love their guns more than school children?
Because shes out of touch living in her nice neighborhood with her SUV and starbucks
@raifmarshall8761 Another example is that over 100,000,000 people own at least one gun on the low end, and there are 335,000,000 people and over 475,000,000 guns in circulation. Yet homicides are in the 18,000s, and total deaths are in the 44 or 45,000. Which is not even half of a percent (about 0.0038%) on all scales. If guns or gun owners were the problem, youd know.
Also, ask her how many black people she thinks are killed by cops annually. Then, follow up with asking why she thinks the only cops should have guns.
She might think differently if a group of multiple criminals decided to kick in her front door to rob and possibly harm her and her family. Having a gun is like having a fire extinguisher. You hope you never have to use it. In an emergency you use it before the "professionals" get there. And it works better if you practice with it.
This is actually one of the best analogies I’ve ever seen for this. I’m legit going to ask the next anti gun person I see if they’ve ever seen a building burn down in person and when they haven’t (because like 90+% of people haven’t), I’ll ask them what the point of fire extinguishers are then since we have fire departments.
And these days the chances of your car or house catching fire is lower than the chances of you being targeted for a violent crime.

Because if a criminal decides he wants to kill someone, the fact that murder is illegal wouldn’t stop him and neither would a law banning guns.
Furthermore the 2A was interpreted for self defense, but it was written that the citizens should have access to anything the government has access to (so we can stretch it to mean criminals as well, since the gov is using them to terrorize people, by refusing to arrest them but arresting people who defend themselves or others).
We should be allowed to use ANY weapon in a defensive manner, not just guns. They will arrest you if you were carrying wasp-spray to use defensively, or anything else.
Never mind that this dude tried to rape you on a camping trip. You had bear-mace so you go to jail for being an attempted rape survivor because bear-mace isn’t on the approved list of defense items.
