Batman artist Graham Nolan is teaming up with Ominous Press to bring two very special projects to light: MONSTER ISLAND CREATOR EDITION, and BLACK BOOK: THE ART OF GRAHAM NOLAN.
The Creator Edition of Monster Island celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the pulp-adventure classic, written and illustrated by Graham Nolan. Lovingly reproduced from the original art boards, this oversized edition includes the entire original story of stalwart heroes discovering an island overrun by monsters. There's also a wealth of extras, including new pin-ups by artists Lee Weeks, Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez, Butch Guice, Kelley Jones, Bart Sears, Pat Olliffe, and Mark A. Nelson, plus a brand-new short story paving the way for a full-color sequel!
Also available is BLACK BOOK: THE ART OF GRAHAM NOLAN. Graham Nolan defined an entire era of Batman comics, including co-creating the villain Bane. Now the artist delves into his files to present a hardcover collection of classic images, private commissions, and personal work, much of it never published before. Featuring more than 100 pages of artwork and commentary from a classic comic artist, this is the next volume in the Ominous Press Black Book Series.
