Super helpful info! I’m trying to grow feijoa trees in Southern California and we planted the trees nearly 3 years ago and still no fruit. But in May this year we finally got flowers so I’m hopeful that we’ll have fruit later this year. Thanks for your videos on growing feijoas. 😊
That is so interesting, when I get a warmer place to live I will grow and eat the flowers, great video :)
one of my favourite plants, it was hard to find one, but I did and it's growing really well!!
Just liked and subbed. I am getting this tree from daughter for Father's Day. Greetings from central Florida, USA.
WOLF🐺 👍
I love the one feijoa tree we grew couple of years ago, and it has consistently produced over a hundred fruit every year, easiest tree to maintain, thanks for posting the video, great for studying the reproduction cycle with my kids.
The flower petals are sweet and have a hint of cinnamon flavor. My kids eat the flowers all the time and love them.
Such a pretty little flower :)
The flowers are so beautiful Kalem. It is such a pretty evergreen plant. I wonder if you can candied those petals like the ginger slices...hmmm...Thanks for sharing ^ ^
Love eating the flowers, they don't candy that well but they're sweet enough not to need it usually
I just eat the petals and not the stamens or anything
Some of my favorite flowers.
In Australia the rainbow lorikeets feed on the nectar of the flowers.
So beautiful, i hope my flower blooms 🙂
はじめて フェイジョアの花のつぼみを見た。ありがとう😊
Nice video Kalem, I haven't seen Feijoa flowers before :)
Very interesting video. Thanks
beautiful!
Cool. Tough crowd, one guy got marked as spam for suggesting to not eat unripe pedals and I got too many negative votes for asking about your sources.
Thank you for your post, kiwi. Can you get fruits if you pollinize from the same tree, or would I need more than one tree?
Where have you been? Please make videos and update on your seeds and garden please?
my feijoa tree is just like start growing..it needs a lot of water? need hot?
In my neck of the woods, birds eat poison ivy fruit. Does that mean it's edible? I'm just wondering if that is how you have determined it's edibility.
