Waiting on the full review. Thanks!
I use it daily love it powers two monitors no issues
I'm hoping your review is out before the black friday sale ends, there isn't much information out there on the gen 4 units. One concern that was noticeable on previous AMD generations was stuttering when using either balanced or power saving battery profiles. Would really like to see if they've fixed this in the gen 4 model.
Not had an issue with the AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 7840U / 7840HS / 7840S, been testing models with these CPU's for the past 2 months. T14s Gen 4 review should be out this coming week. 👍
Mayby some test with "Quick CPU" which shows temperatures/ TDP and so on ... ?
Great suggestion, I'll try to add that into testing. Thanks! 👍
I have been waiting your review about this too long...
Oh dear. Just finishing another video this week, then editing of the T14s next.
The top bezel looks kinda big and outdated, but maybe it is for durability ?
i have this laptop
that bezel is not a problem for me as it allows to have physical webcam privacy switch
it's much better than having stupid macbook screen notch
Would love to see a comparison between this, T14s Gen 4 AMD, and Yoga Pro 7 14.5" AMD. Which one is "better"? 😊
Great idea. Currently comparing the T14s Gen 4 with the Yoga Slim 7. I thought the 7840U was a beast, the 7840S is special on the Yoga! 😉
Intel i7 pro or amd 7😭
Best business laptop at 14-inches.
Other respectable choices: Dell Latitude 7440 with an i7 1365U CPU, and HP EliteBook 840 G10 i7 1370p CPU.
The T14s (AMD) or the EliteBook 845 G10 (AMD) - reviewing/testing the EB 845 G10 and EB 840 G10 as we speak. 👍
What's the ugly red button on the middle for?
it makes the laptop excited
It's called track point, essentially, you can move the pointer without using the track pad or mouse
It's a trackpoint that can be used instead of the trackpad. It's especially useful for on-field work if you're wearing gloves or have wet hands.
is it suitable for students
it is more than suitable, I assure you.
Are you use it is gen 4? It looks like gen 5
There isn't a Gen 5 out yet.
But i will warn you now the USB C thunderbolt situation for this computer makes it not qorth the money.
