- Everyone knows prices on PC hardware right now are stupid, it's undeniable (thanks, worldwide shutdown and crypto goldmine of 2020!) but I have an itch for upgrades anyway...so to beat the market, I'm taking $100 and am determined to turn it into big upgrades for my system while also salvaging some e-waste AND making some people's day along the way!
Join me on the journey! And please, wish me luck!
This channel is criminally underviewed
Thanks for the kind words! It makes the grind to get these out (around my work schedule) feel much less like a grind 😁
first time watching your content and its AMAZING keep it up I really need part 2
Thank you! I’m really trying to get better with each video I put together; Resolve has quite the learning curve, though lol
And I promise, part 2 is already in the works!
Great video. New subscriber now. My only question is what the hell was on the mouse? What kind of hand grease leaves that goo behind?
I *really* don’t want to know 😬
I always love these flip up challenges. I must confess even more so when they go wrong.
I’m feeling pretty confident right now, but I’m already anticipating the pivot from $150-250 flips to $500-650 ones is where I’ll get hung up. Reeeeeeeally hoping to avoid that, though!
Nice video! That nail polish tho... XD
Ha there’s really a reason for that, and featured in an upcoming video alongside a whole AliExpress PC upgrade! Well, an upgrade from where the PC is starting anyway…
@@doesitgame Don't get me wrong, I am all for people expressing themselves, but fix it for filming haha XD
Unfortunately I don’t set the hours for the little one’s “nail salon” 🤷♂️🤣
@@doesitgame Ahaha I see how it is now hahahaha :D
Where can i find what xeons are compatible with specific hp PC's? I have a 6200 and 8200 sff laying around and these would be great if they had 4 cores 8 threads
I’m not sure there’s actually a generic list of which Xeons work with them, especially because the 6200/8200 had a more limited chipset IIRC. I just had a hunch that paid off.
The 6200/8200 can *probably* run something like the Sandy Bridge E3-1270 (it cannot have a ‘v’ number after it), which is spectacularly cheap and maybe worth a gamble. There are probably even cheaper ones, though the lower down the stack you go the lower the clock speeds.
In general, a lot of the older HP, Dell, and Lenovo office PCs can run the equivalent Xeon for their generation; Intel were basically just repackaging the Core line as Xeons of different bin levels, and the OEMs didn’t bother to cut the functionality from the BIOS because they assumed nobody would be tinkering with them until well after official support ended anyway.
If you do find one of the Sandy Bridge Xeons working on yours, definitely let me know!
@@doesitgame i'll definitely give it a shot. Did see something about the e3-1270 on a benchmark website. New sub, keep up the great work!
the low profile 1050 tie?
also ur unbelievably underrated bro keep it up
I will die on the “Ti is short for ‘titanium’” hill lol
(Because even Nvidia have acknowledged it is 😁)
And thank you!
That is, SO, cool.
Thank you! 😁
🎉
That's a steal!
I know! I bid with ~10 seconds left, expecting my $50 max bid to get blown away by other snipe attempts, and then almost felt bad when it ended at $23 (the extra $11 was shipping).
fps boosting dust.... maybe I'm doing it wrong then?
Oh yeah, dust is even better at boosting FPS than RGB. It’s basically science!
@@doesitgame aw shit thought I was meant to keep my pc clean man
Don't forget me if u get famous
34$ for a working PC with dedicated GPU and 16gb of RAM? That’s basically like winning at a casino, how did you even manage that
Here in Europe that same rig would probably go for 150+ euros. For 34 euros maybe you could get a Pentium 4 lmao
Hahaha I know! I couldn’t believe my bid won, even though I placed it within the last 20 seconds; I fully expected it to explode over $100.
Just dumb luck, and kind of a subpar job listing it by the seller.
