Very nice beautiful house 🏠
You guys are killing me with these comments😂. Im sure the church paid for alot of this, but air bnb can be very profitable also especially with a nice location.
Money is the root of all evil. This man will stand before God.
Damn what a cool house. Love how it’s a real wood/cabin vibe. And saved a lot of money and used the wood Ina lot of ways and wow she has a nicer & bigger closet than I’ve seen in some mansions lol💯💯 really cool beautiful house
Its a very nice place. Atleast they'll be nice and comfy when the rapture comes and goes.
JUST❤ LOVE THIS...
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
They did such a great job with a small church salary, Airbnb income, and using the trees on the property. What a vision! What a house!
Money given in tithe. Money given to God. I pray this home becomes a selfless full time ministry centre and not personal home.
@@MyFriendlyPup Part of tithe is meant to pay the salary of the pastor to be used like anyone's salary is to be used. Also, they said in the video that the Airbnb money is what really allowed for them to do this build, not his salary from the church.
hopefully global warming destroys this freeloading grifters home...
Damn that was a mighty tree that made their table. Looks like an old growth beauty. Hope it died of natural causes rather than for their selfish pickings.
What brand sink is that? I love it!
Amazing Grace!
Bless you both!
How great are the things of man!
Lot's of nutcases in the comments here... I say kudos to this couple. Nothing in this video is contrary to the Bible. This couple made the most of what they were given. This man is making his money from short term rentals now, but he is still pastoring that church anyway. Praise be to God!
Nothing says man of God like a million dollar home
God is good.
@Funstead you must not have had the volume up on the video
Haha rich or poor can be men of god, there is no exception let go of that stupid stereotype
@@rogerthat9869 you obviously haven't read the Bible. Mathew 19:23-24 - Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God
@@Funstead you'll never really never understand the bible from a literalist point of view lmao
SMART 😎
A Knotty pine boomer paradise.
such an amazing home!
I'd always heard that being a pastor can be very lucrative! It obviously was for this couple.
plus...they are non tax paying freeloaders. that sure helps.
*pastor in the video is wise with money and makes $1700/mo for 20 years (thats $20,000/year btw, and over half of it is taxed; the other half is usually a housing stipend)*
*idiots on RUclips say that this pastor has had a "lucrative" career*
@@gothboschincarnate3931 Non tax paying freeloader is an oxymoron. Everyone who receives taxpayer money is a 'freeloader' by definition.
On the church goers dime too.
Gorgeous home.
Small salary.
What did the pastor make in "love offerings" over the years?
Was the church providing his home, insurance and paying his utilities? Were his children able to go to Faith based colleges for little or no tuition?
What they've done with this home is impressive. I don't buy into the $1,600 monthly though
You paused the video at "$1600" and wrote this comment?
You are right. They did not pay for that house on that $1600 - $1700/month income. They built the house using money they made from Airb&b, and they exploited their natural resource, the wooded acreage they owned on the coast.I'd like to know when and hiw they aquired that land . . .
@JJoy-bk8yr no, I watched the whole thing and question that statement. I am also guessing he may or may not have other businesses/investments.
Believe me, I have been surrounded by this my whole life.
You sound like Greg Laurie Pastor Baily❤
A more accurate title would have said "landowners" rather than "pastor." They did not pay for that deluxe house on that $1600 - $1700/month income ftom the church, obviously. They had a house on a wooded acreage on the coast with water views, and through a series of wise moves and hard work they built their current lifestyle, by 1) exploiting their natural resources and 2) using money they made from Airb&b, and 3) by hard phyiscal labor. Kudos to them for doing it in a creative way and not destroying their land in tbe process. I would have liked to know how they came to own that property in the first place, but if they don't want to say, that's fine.
That house cost a lot more to build than you would make with an AirBnB! What's REALLY going on here?!?!?!
You should look into short term rental properties...
This is an amazing home, but my OCD kicked as soon as the camera went inside. There's just an abundance of things. How can 1 woman have enough clothes in one closet that would fill an entire department store. There's no way that she can wear all of those clothes and as a pastor's wife it almost like bragging, but should be instead donated to families that have little to nothing 🙄. There's so much stuff in the home that it's hard to see the real beauty.
As a Catholic is plain out Heresy, a priest must give up his wealth and belongings to the Lord.
Catholicism is the serpents version of Christianity.
And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
Matthew 19:24
Precisely. Material possessions are warned of.
That's a misquote, God wants His people wealthy
Money is the root of all evil says the Bible. Jesus could make coins appear in a fish's mouth yes didn't want money.
The passage is from 1 Timothy 6:10. It actually says "the love of money is the root of all sorts of evil". A far cry from what you misquoted but this passage is often misread. The context of the passage is about being content with needs Jesus has fulfilled versus focusing on gaining material riches. Those who have focused and desired money more than Christ cause great harm to themselves. Here is the context surrounding that verse:
1 Timothy 6:7-11 (NASB95):
7 For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either.
8 If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content.
9 But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction.
10 For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
11 But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance and gentleness.
Any Christian's devotion and focus should be on Jesus Christ. Anything that gets between Christ and His follower should be tossed away. Praying for you ☺️
I am sorry but a pastor should not have any home, and live by the mercy of God. This is blasphemy.
If you follow the scripture. Yes. A safe, humble home to provide for family. Nothing more.
