That's why I play offline. Online it almost becomes like 2nd job already - you do so many mf runs that it's no more fun anymore. It's just a f'ing job. You grind 2 months for enigma and then ladder reset comes and you grind again. In single player on PC I just mod hell cows to drop Baal drop and each cow to always drop 7 items and it never takes me more than 30 min to find what I want. This game is designed for those who have like 16 hours of free time per day. If you have other responsibilities in a life and gaming becomes your side quest, not main quest but you still want to enjoy it then this is they way to go. While those who have 16 hour free time in every day it would understandably find it too easy and too boring, those who have 30 min free time a day for gaming will find it just right.
Single player only, so not really an issue and I doubt they'll go to any trouble to fix it. On PC you can create a character from scratch with any gear you like using Hero Editor and share pre-made character files. This is a small step towards parity for single-player console players. When someone discovers a duplication glitch for Online, that's when the problems will start.

Just a little note to anyone trying this, make sure you test it with something easily replaceable in case the game erases both items (original + duped). I tried this about a dozen times and finally got the glitch to work with a P Ruby last night. When I hopped on my offline toon this morning, both rubies were no longer in existence. The game "exploitive deleted" my exploitive deleted so just a friendly heads up. Not sure exactly what caused it but hopefully this makes some people aware so they don't go trying to dupe a Ber or Jah on their first attempt and lose valuable HR(s).
Hey everyone hope you all are enjoying this while its unpatched. I want to add that if you get ahold of a chipped gem of each kind( farm the catacombs for chipped gems its the fastest place i know of)and any low rune (you can look up rune recipes online) as long as you have one of each gem and any low level rune you can dupe them and craft them up until you have EVERY rune in the game. Which you could then also dupe resulting in having EVERY runeword at your fingertips in just a hour or two of duping...You will just need to farm cows for bases to make them 😈...HAPPY FARMING GUYS ♥️ AND HAPPY HALLOWEEN AS WELL!!!
Well it might take a bit longer than one hour actually it takes 14,281,868,906,496 transmutations of El runes to produce one Zod rune. If you have something higher like mid runes to Ber it may be more feasible especially since you can multiply your runes logarithmically, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 etc) Better spend this time playing. On top of it it’s just an offline mode so it dosn’t affect game economy and you can’t play multiplayer with offline characters. I guess in consoles it’s of more value as you don’t have access to the save file editors.
@@AntonLennikov it definitely only took me 2 hours tops to find a chipped gem of each kind and dupe them along with very low lvl runes to acquire every high rune in the game. You can dupe multiples at a time and it can stack so 2-4-8-16 etcetc. It really dont take long at all... try it
@@AntonLennikov not a ps5 player but to explain, when you upgrade the els, you don't keep duplicating the els. As I undersrand in the video, you duplicate the next level of runes you have, and so on.

I’m on PS5 as well. I’ve lost an entire shared stash page with this bug too so be careful how you use it. I don’t put anything important in my shared stash. It all goes on mules. They need to fix this shit for real.
There was a similar way of duplicating items on Diablo 1 on PlayStation. That's what my brother and i did, the bonus being that D1 was couch co-op on PS and very lame D2R isn't.
Along the same line as this. I am on a PlayStation 4, is there absolutely anyway to change your player count or improve your odds while farming runes in lower kurast? All the RUclips videos have the player counts set at 7 or 8. 436 LK runs in and one GUL is all I’ve been able to find.
The method works with multiple items at a time too. I just duped an entire inventory of HRs. Completely ruined the joy of actually finding an HR now LOL
This is way more exploitable on the PC because both your character and the shared stash can be copied to you desktop so it's a backup of whatever is on each at the time you copy it.
lol on SINGLE PLAYER PC you can literally dload peoples lvl 99 characters and put them in your save folder and instantly have godly bugged gear and a lvl 99

Also i know this is 2 years ago but hopefully you know you can upload this to youtube directly from your console. I see way to many people take photos with there phone and recording there tv. I mean come i did that when the equipment wasnt available and you had to rig your pc to your console with some software which not everyone had or knew how to do.
Different method for xbox you have to save scum. I dont have it fully figured out yet but I have gotten it to happen a few times. Haven't seen any videos for xbox method surprisingly tho
Wouldn't it be ideal to dupe high runes? I've had rare and unique rings and amulets dupe. I tried this way of duping last night but it didnt work, not sure if they've updated it.
Just helping out, but you can upload and select the save file to upload which is sharedstash to the cloud when you have runes and start the processes of making high runes takes abit of time I'd save 3 hrs if your starting from the bottom. Abit of back and forth of uploading and downloading, but everything in you shared stash can be duplicated. This method is abit faster. May not seem like it but it is once you get it going. I have every rune. Make sure you just have a 3 stack of each just because some rune words take 2 to 3 of the same rune in the combination.

I wasn't able to get this to work following the steps a couple days ago, and then read some comments about it being fixed with the December 2nd patch. But....... Now I just accidentally ended up duping some items. They were crap though. All I did was move 2 items from shared stash #3 to my inventory, and then another item from shared stash #1, then I saved and quit, and hard exit the game afterwards. All on one character. I reloaded it, and had the items in my inventory + in the shared stashes I took them from before quitting out, both shared stashes even. I haven't been able to replicate it, but I swear it happened because they were uniques that I definitely didn't have duplicates of. There still might be a way to consistently do it... I mainly did this because I had problems with the game saving on single player, so I started just moving items around in the shared stash to try and get it to save. That's how I discovered this weird occurrence.
Ive been able to do it still. But cant get it down perfect I'll get to work 1 day and do it 3 or 4 times then it'll stop working then it'll be another day or 2 and I'll get it to work again. Shits weird
Ive seen this many times. I wasnt sure what was causing it though. I found a skiller charm for pally then put it in shared, i logged out (maybe it didnt save properly) because i logged back in and i had 2 skiller charms but -2 levels.
It works on Switch. This is how I did it. Load a ton and put the rune/Item in your inventory then go to Gheed and gamble a cheap belt or something. It will save 95% of the time when you gamble an item. Soon as you see the save icon run to your stash and put the rune/item in the FIRST stash tab and save&exit. Now load your second toon and as soon as you load in you'll have about 30 seconds of grace period. Take the rune/item out and it should show the autosave icon again soon as you see that save%exit then hit home and X to stop the game. Reload game reload second toon and it should have worked. Iv had about 90% success rate this way. Need to try it a few times though.
works on pc by copy files over as well - only offline. ON pc Offline you never have to farm for runes after one point ever again, just get 1 pul and you are up to a jah for a couple of hours.
@@tibifox I do exactly the same as in the video but I press B(back) instead of pressing start once I'm done placing the items from my stash to my inventory. After I press Save and Exit, I press the home button once then get back into the game and then press it again and I close the game. Those are the only things that I did differently
