In the case of RDR2 one my favorite random encounters is the one were Bill is captured by bounty hunters only came across in my second playthrough. Also the KKK encounters are great as well. I think its making them unique Like taking the injured man to the doctor seeing his arm cut off. or a killer woman wanting you to hid a body but you can also turn her in but the game never tells you. You can also see her hang later and you can save or even hang her your self. Blew me away with how detailed a random encounter can be skyrim has some amazing ones well.

when you see witness with white writing you can talk your way out of it but some Npcs may not believe you it depends on there personality.
