Back in the spring of 1986 I was a teenager driving around in my cool muscle car with the radio cranked up, when right out of the blue, I heard this song for the very first time! Thank you Kent for bringing your version of this song to life and for reminding me of that carefree & youthful day in my life 35 years ago !!

Check out Naudo. He's a incredible fingerstyle guitarist and is a complete one man band.
He shows us part way through that there is a rhythm track you can hear as well as the one we see him playing. It sounds like there may be a bass track we can hear as well. Still, it's quite nice.

That bass line is a job all on its own. To think he’s comping the chords, leads, melody, harmonies and the percussion all simultaneously while maintaining that funky base line is mind blowing 🤯

This young man is just grooving around with golden old songs. While his senior mainstream guitarist are busy catching up latest songs.
I simply loved watching those mainstream guitarist before but not after I heard Kent's arrangements and music tastes. His standards is almost impossible that no one can even almost imagine.
What really kills me is that these are tunes from a whole different generation, tunes that I wasn’t totally in love with when they came out, yet Kent just makes them totally great in a way that captures the mood, the melody, the rhythm, and makes me love the song more than before… keep ‘em coming, Kent!

I . cannot . get . enough . of . your . covers! Spectacular arrangements, precise execution, and deep feeling for the spirit of the original. But several, including Sledgehammer, Another Day in Paradise, Man in the Mirror, are more satisfying to me than the originals.
I have one request: a redo of Drive My Car using the arrangement you performed on stage, but with higher sound and video quality.
If I give it thought, I probably have dozens of requests. :-)

There's so many!!!! 9.9 out of 10 musicians play guitar!!!! There are other instruments, LOTS of others!!! I'm in love with the bass myself, and the flute also. With BOTH parents being lifelong musicians, I was started at 4 y.o. and went through about a dozen before landing on the bass at 15, this Thurs is my 45th birthday and my love for playing music is only getting stronger!!!!
