🚢 Ferry boat from Naples to Sorrento - Amalfi Coast, Italy

We had a couple of days on the Amalfi Coast and after flying into Naples got the ferry over to our hotel in Sorrento. The trip over is so beautiful and a really lovely way to start your holiday.

May I ask where you stayed in both Naples and Sorrento and your opinion of those. Also, the name of the ferry boat you caught to take you to Sorrento. Thank you in advance. My husband and I are going to Italy in September and have 5 nights to spend in Naples/Amalfi Coast and are so undecided where to stay and spend time. First time travellers to Italy

We stayed at Dimora conte di Ruvo in Naples which was very basic but in a great position. We stayed at Hotel Villa Igea in Sorrento which was absolutely stunning. The sunsets were to die for. The ferry was from the main port in Naples and cost €8
