CHH is one of more practical minded Clans with they combined arms tactics.
Grayson's Marauder was my random drop in the Kickstarter and was the reason I ran with Gray Death. Plus I love the Catalyst version (normally prefer the videogame style of mechs) of the Marauder so it was a win.

Anyone that isn't Clan Wolf or Jade Falcon is basically a minor support Clan unfortunately.

@@Aodyri Smoke Jaguar, Steel Viper, and Nova Cat all got Annihilated or destroyed, Ghost Bear has hunkered down in their safe place and doesn't interact with the other clans anymore.

Nova Cat fused with elements of inner sphere, became Spirit Cats. Still making Kuritans uncomfortable. Smoke Jaguar remnants became the elite of the Republic, and as of ilClan they are reborn as a Clan.
Steel Viper nearly wiped Wolf and Falcon out and only got annihilated in the fallout.
Ghost Bear fused with Rasalhague and is arguably one of the the strongest Clans left. They never got smacked around like Wolf and Falcon, they just are the legendary fence sitter Warden clan.
Heh, last time I used a D12 system was for Advanced Heroquest; it worked well and less swingy than a D6. Also works well here and your explanation makes sense.
Yeah, it really is a more interesting way to do it, tho I don't quite get how it works lol. Why do they roll multiple D12s?

I’m not sure what having those light mechs was going to achieve. They looked like kids completely out of their depth. I can see them being of use in a scouting or raiding mission but not much use in a stand up fight. Maybe holding them back to respond to people attacking mechs from the rear. Is there a bonus for rear attacks other than the target can’t shoot back?
Fun fight, if a bit...less than noble at times. But I'm sure they'll tell noble lies in their reports, lol
You must be educated on proper Clan terminology, quiaff. A Batchall is the formal declaration of a Trial, in which the location of a battle is determined as well as the bidding process to Cutdown forces until both sides agree on the terms and conditions. Well bargained and done.
Zellbrigen is the code of honor that warriors follow on the battlefield. It does not apply to vehicles, and also Clan Hell's Horses are opportunistic at best.

This a Mecha game not a Battletech Alpha Strike game from the moment you change 2D6 for 1D12. The differences are to great to list them all.
Alpha Strike is so casual it doest matter. You can roll chicken bones and have the same result. Beer and pretzels game is a beer and pretzels game.
