It’s good to see the under dog doing well , I made a boo boo when I bought the Wembley gas ram , but not anywhere nr as accurate as that Remington, and that was 160 pounds couple of yrs ago , cheers shane
After a hundreds of testings of more than 20 models of pellets, with my 4 breakbarrels, 2 PCPs and 1 single-stroke pump-action gun, in calibers .177 and .22, I came to the following conclusions: 1.) H&N's Field target trophy is by far the most "compatible" model for paper targeting (unlike some others, it did well with all of my guns); 2.) the H&N's Hornet is an absolute winner when it comes to hunting (it's precision, penetration and overall efficiency compared to those of Polymag, Metalmag and Redfire); 3.) JSB's Hades, the worst of them all: on paper targets, less accurate than ANY H&N; in hunting, not efficient enough, due to the poor "mushrooming", despite of the fact it is advertised as the one designed to easily "expand".
Good video. I was shocked at 4.51 light pellets. I didn't know there were any that light. Makes me feel better about my JSB 7.33, the lightest in my stash. Not that I'm into "heavy" pellets. I guess my heaviest are 8.64 H&N.
I love that moderator. I cut down and re crowned the barrel on my express too. Shame there’s not many options out there for push on moderators but your looks great.
Great little channel , gonna give you a shout out on my channel when I’ve finished my editing of my new Remington express video that I’m currently working on, will be uploaded in the next couple of days , cheers shaneweightman
Hi There. Shortened the barrel so I could add a silencer without gun being too long buddy. Just wanted to tame the noise a bit. It worked. Crowned using a rotary tool with grind wheel and then brass brush to finish. It's a bit risky but it worked. ATB PP

@@pelletplaytime4785 Then the next question before I attempt to destroy my Express, that...took me forever and two days to FINALLY get it to actually hit a sheet of paper consistently at 7 meters, yes it was THAT BAD. Had to straighten the barrel, and use significant'y heavier pellets than what I was. All that said, WHAT holds on the moderator on the stock Express? Is it possible to remove it and go with a custom? Thanks from across the pond.
Hello Sir, thankyou for your review. This Remington looks very similar to a Weirhaurch HW80. It is substantially quite alot less expensive. Does the ruling apply here too? You get what you pay for?? The Weirhaurch's have stood the test of time, German engineering - bullet proof, pardon the pun! The HW's have seen generation after generation. The Remington maybe good this week and next, but what about after that? I'd rather pay more and invest in something with a proven track record.
@@pelletplaytime4785 Hello Sir. Thankyou for acknowledging my comment. I feel as though Remington can't win really. They've manufactured a product three times cheaper than the benchmark rival, and will appeal to many people, and rightly so. However, I've done the same thing in the past, purchased these items, then had a horrible feeling afterwards, realising what I'd done. Usually, when products are significantly less expensive, in my experience, you eventually find out why, and pay the price, and then wish you'd purchased the other. That said, it could be that the benchmark items are over priced? It's a difficult one. In looks, both items look virtually identical. However, I suppose you could make the stock chunkier, different lines etc. Though then, it would be heavier, when it's already a big boy to begin with. It's a tough one. Thankyou.

Probably the best target in the world, worth waiting for!!

Subscriber number 5 here. It might be interesting to see the ME when next testing. However, enjoyed the video anyway!
Hi Engineer, please excuse my ignorance, what would you like to see when you say "ME" ? ATB PP
Interesting results. I have used the h&n excite In a cp2 in single shot and they are accurate out to 25y, not tried them any further distance.
Nice review
Thanks Bud. ATB PP
Great video friend! Just shared you on my channel. Great editing.

Ah sorry if my text was misleading, 4.51 relates to the diameter of the pellet not the weight. Thanks for watching buddy. ATB PP

@@pelletplaytime4785 so how long is the barrel now? I’m guessing that silencer slides over it? I cut mine down to about 14 inches.
@@GhostofCTC Yeah about that, the new mod is 2" over and 4" out buddy.

How much did you cut. Or how many inches is your barrel now?
All success with your new channel.
What is the reason you shorten the barrel?
How did you do the crown after cutting the barrel?

Thanks for the review. Any preference for .177 v .22 with this model? Thanks
Hi Saracen. Only used the .177 buddy but certainly no complaints for the price. ATB MMMD
Maybe you need to find the perfect pellet for the barrel to help get more consistent and tighter groups.
Yeah, I think so Stephen, JSB Exact are doing really well, had a couple of ragged hole single groups. ATB PP
Did you shorten the barrel with a hacksaw ?
Dremel tool buddy. Cut and re-crowned. It was a crude and slightly risky approach but it worked. ATB PP
Hi do you have a link for that scope by any chance pleass
Sorry buddy no, bought the scope second hand.
