You absolutely just saved me a few quid there. I was just 15 minutes ago on the brink of buying 1 of these. Decided to check RUclips first. Thanks for the video. And yes I subbed
I can't deny your experiences but for what it's worth I've personally had one of these on an Artemis pp750 for a few months now and with a sub 6 ft pistol it's not wondered even a mm off zero, I also shoot from a dark to lighter area with changing light conditions but for myself I have had no build quality issues, and I am now hitting a ten pence piece size spinner every time, granted it is a pcp but it's 6ft pistol very much from the budget end of air gunning,
@@ibrahimnawaz6058 talking about the scope buddy, I mentioned the Artemis because it's a PCP pistol and doesn't put hardly any stress on the scope when compared to a Springer or a rimfire rifle for instance, You're right in what you're saying though
@@samcruickshanks6856 oh i see. Should have guessed it was a pistol by its name, my bad. That said it does well with the scope because its a pcp. No huge spring or explosives like in the case of a springer or rimfire
Well I only shoot springers , and had one of these milbro scopes 3-9x40 , and I was really impressed with it , mine lived up to the Clearview name the image was bright and clear through the scope , and everybody who used my rifle was impressed with this cheap scope , so think you must have got a dodgy batch . I've used expensive hawke scopes which I couldn't get on with ( didn't hold zero ) nearly £300 ! In fact when I sold the rifle I nearly took the milbro to scope off ! If I needed a cheaper scope I would buy another one .
Hit and miss with chinese scopes , i got a milbro scope and it works well even been on a 22LR semi auto and it held zero , had it on a couple of different air rifles now and it still going stong.
I've got to say there are some really bad cheap scopes out there. Once you get to a Niko Sterling ( about £20 more) things get much better. Spring powered air rifles just destroy low grade scopes. The recoil does them more damage than a rim or centre fire rifle. Great video 👍
@@RealAirgunAdventures Yes I agree mate. Cheap scopes just can't hack it. The Nikko are a step up for sure, I really like the Hawke Fastmount and Vantage ranges, great quality glass without costing a fortune. ATB PP
@@pelletplaytime4785Hiya mate, I'm not exactly new to air rifles but I am new to scopes, what would you suggest ranks above the Nikko scopes without getting too pricey? I have this exact Milbro scope from a crappy Milbro break barrel I bought a few years ago and have since upgraded to a Weihrauch HW100 but I am in need of a better quality scope without breaking the bank. Main uses would be for garden plinking, some ratting and maybe some rabbits if I can gain a permission. Many many thanks Pat
Bought an SMK scope £25 new , put it on my PP700 pistol / rifle , actually very good , can even use it with my reading glasses on ... bit of an EBAY result for me id say ...
There are a couple of guys a t the gun club I'm a member of swear by a brand called exlvan, cheep scopes from China, and the few I've looked at and used for the money are quite good , 😁👍
I’ve noticed a few people mention they are Chinese. 90% + of scopes come out of China. It’s a price thing I think. A lot are made by the same companies under contract to different quality standards. I bought an Optics Warehouse own brand FFP Scope and it’s a Vector Optics…. Minefield I think! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣👍
Yes certainly, most are airgun rated these days but some are still strong than others. I only shoot spring guns also, I really like Hawke scopes. ATB MMMD
Let's be honest, these scopes are just junk. Imo there there is no substitute for a good quality scope that will give years of great service. Optisan have been my go to for several years as they offer fantastic value for money, especially on my pcps, I do like the nikko panamax range on my springers though....

Hi , great show .... i have one of these scope`s , i had no problems with the scope .. Cheers

That is because artemis is a fairly reputable company even if the things it sells aren’t very expensive

I bought mine The other day and seems to be spit on tbh
Hi mate just wondering if you have any reviews on the milbro tracker hunter ?

Yeah I think your spot on. The first one was unusable junk but this one has potential to do ok. Thanks for watching and commenting buddy. ATB PP

@@pelletplaytime4785 agree there, Hawke are a different league and not a massive leap in price.

I was told to only buy air gun rated or else it will break. I only shoot spring guns.

You have a point Robert, worth paying more for something that will last and that you can rely on. ATB PP
Over the last 10 years cheap air rifles have improved dramatically. A cheap scope has always been, and will always be a cheap scope.
