- In todays video we install a Pulsar LT on my 2021 Silverado 6.2! This module disables DFM, Stop/Start, Recalibrate speedometer for tire size, remove factory speed limiter, adjust TPMS sensors and gives you 5 way throttle response sensitivity! All that without voiding your warranty!!!!

I just got my pulsar LT last night and installed it this morning and I’m super happy I was finally able to scoop one up. I probably would’ve never known about it without this vid so shout out to you! I was thinking to get the obd2 port plug in for the dfm Disable from range and then auto stop emliminators harness but happier with this cause I can do the pedal command and governor delete too. The money is def worth you won’t be disappointed
Everything u said is so true I luv it jux came back from testing mine out OMG feeling like I'm ready for the track
Those tires tho we need a whole setup video that’s a sick build 🔥
Just installed my unit love it skip reading watch your video man makes a big difference
Saw this video and ordered it right after! Top 2 reasons are to disable Stop/Start and DFM. The rest are fat bonuses
2019 GMC AT4 w/ 6.2 10 speed
I just added my pulsar and disabled the auto stop and dfm. The truck is a beast. I also increased the throttle sensitivity to 5 just to try it out ,and man!!! That was wild lol
Got me one on the way for my 15 Chevy can’t wait to get it on 👍🏼😎
Just want to say thanks for in-depth videos of the Pulsar LT install and programming. I was able to successfully install and program all the selected features as I watched your videos. The real MPG test will be tonight on my way too work. My 8 speed transmission engages real quick with no bogging down over stock from a dead stop. I've been very fortunate with my truck with no engine\transmission issues, not bad for having over 57k miles and over 1750 engine hours on my '19 LT crew cab. Thanks for everything. Victor (Sierra Vista, AZ)
Any updates on the fuel mileage?
@brockilocksroberts5356 My MPG has no change and maintains on avg 21mpg that's because my BFG K02 have over 55k miles on them.
I've since had the #8 lifter collapsed with a bad cam (pulsar LT installed) and in November had my 8L90 transmission harness upgraded thanks to the ck engine light. I now have over 90k miles on my truck
@@vcastilloaz thank you!

Those new twilights are sick and that startup sounded beasty!!! 👹👹👹
I just got my pulsar LT today and installed it yesterday! I Love It!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!READ THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pulsar LT comes with a preset gear ratio. Mine was preset 3.23 but my vehicle is a 3.42. So, make sure you know your vehicle gear ratio and program it accordingly.
Sir, the concept of “earning my subscription” when describing your content fails to such a degree that I hesitated to use it. Until today I have enjoyed your content as bystander as it is pleasantly delivered, authentic, and the result of legitimate ability. Oh my holy God was I unprepared for the severe magnitude of change you casually referred to when saying “Oh this truck rips now”. I installed the Pulsar you recommended today after the culmination of three years of modifications to my own TrailBoss. It tied everything together into a nice package and then detonated six hundred and twenty seven point three repeating pounds of Tanerite under it. My truck geometrically ROCKETED through pleasant improvement, serious surprise, illicit glee, and was fully on course into the “Holy shit I can’t believe we are about to do this!” moment when I backed off for the sake of my sanity and my fiduciary responsibility to the Highway Patrol of Fortress Texas. God BLESS you Sir for giving me a new truck. I feel like I snatched the apple out of Eve’s hand and ate the whole damn thing before bedding her AND LILITH!
I love the pulsar Lt it does everything it says it does my truck is a absolute beast now I love it!!!!
You NAILED the review bud!
I bought mine in the fall after conversing back and forth via email with an engineer from superchips. $500 is alot of money and I had questions.
It was worth every fucking penny.... I keep it on pedal level 3..... no when I drive my wifes escalade im like "COME ON GOOO"..... even tho mine is the 5.3.
I have the Corsa CAI, Borla Stype Carbon Fiber exhaust..... this compliments everything.....
Badass upgrade
You might wanna take it off lol
Love your videos. Great camera work and explanations. I'm waiting on the final sale of my Jeep. Then I'll be ordering my 6.2L Trail Boss. This video has sold me on the Pulsar LT. I'll be ordering that soon. I'll receive it before my Trail Boss arrives.
I just read that it's not legal in California. They're working on it. I'll have to see what I can do.
I ordered it. I’ll see if l get denied.
Really like your vids bud. Had a 18 Z71 that I started following ya with. Now I have a 21' AT4 6.2L. I just ordered this from range. N my cat back borla atak is in the mail.
Just used your link to order cant wait to get it thanks for the review! Next exhaust upgrade just cant decide
What’s crazy is, I bought my 02 Silverado brand new, and drove it harder than what you did, and it never blew up,,I still own it doesn’t smoke and runs great!
Oh yea it’s a 4.8 liter V8
Got one for my ram 1500 limited and yes it does make a huge difference
I'm done a few of my truck I have the Ram 1500 5.7 V8 Hemi and I did the Hypertech computer programmer but it was actually better to do later just because when you go through the different features it asks tire size do you have a aftermarket exhaust any computer chips which I have the stage 2 and a few other things but I find them to be an absolute must can't wait to watch this whole video.
Just put one on my 2020 rst man this thing feels like it has a new motor in it I luv it
THANK YOU!! I haven’t found a single person that could tell me if the Pulsar could defeat the 98mph speed limiter. I’m ordering my now!
You should only change the speed limiter after upgrading from the fat aluminum drive shaft that is known to fail ... if your Truck came with that unfortunate install
@@ricksdunnn what's your rec for getting that swapped? I need to do that to mine but I'm new to screwing with this kinda shit so I don't know where to begin.
Thanks My Guy !!! Install on 2020 Silverado 5.3 Unleashed the Beast !!!
Thanks for the info. Wonder if this would be worthwhile for 2012 avalanche 5.3 or just get the little that plugs into the OBD connector?
That battery terminal bolt being on an angle has single handedly made my decision to buy a new Chevy lol
Just wait until you try taking the battery out... it's the biggest pain in the rear for something that should be simple.
Don't forget the HDMI exhaust ports!
@StrongLike Bull I know this Is old but I lol'ed to mutch on this comment.
Love the content keep up with the great work
Love the video question for you did you keep your pedal sensitivity at the five I just bought this product
Good job bro!! I can always tell if it’s a good or bad improvement by your reactions. You look like I would be, str8t cheeezin’ when a mod works like you want it to, lol!! Keep up the good work/videos loving the content .
Yeah this didn’t age well lol
Great vid. I just got mine today.
Question about your exhaust though.
Did you install headers in addition to different muffler? High flow cats?
Hey bro, I’m new to your channel but I couldn’t help but notice the sign in the background at 15:30. I know that sign. If that’s the place I think it is, that “little spot” on US 280 and US 231 once held the record for most speeding tickets in the US back in the day. Sorry… had a flashback. Anyway, bro you have a sharp ride and sorry about your breakdown. That sucks but hope they get you back up and going soon. Oh, by the way, Roll Tide!
I installed it last night. I LOVE it!!!
Just bought my 2021 lt trailboss with the 6.2 as well, what size wheels and tires are you running? Offset? And do you have any rub? Any cutting/trimming?
Ordered mine last week. Can't wait!!
Well truck in the video blew up 3 days ago. Good luck to you sir! Dont forget it will void warranty lol!
@@XDM10 it doesn’t void your warranty when u take it off
As good as advertised bro! It’s under 500 bucks and is gonna eliminate the only issue the 6.2s would possibly have! Great video Bro!!!
What about the 5.3 issue...lifters (cough cough)
@@jtotherog , bro you need to get a woman or a hobby. Every post on this video has a negative reply from you. I have none of these mods and my 6.2l trail boss is ticking at 6000 miles. It’s a defect with the way they are making these engines. But seriously, get yourself a girlfriend and stop being so negative.
@@scottakabuster8075 🤣🤣🤣 i need a hobby and you need a new truck my friend. Well... we both need new trucks. Wasnt necessarily an attack on him. More or less a bad taste for Chevy in general. If you can't see the humor in all this then idk what to say🤣🤣🤣
Once you used the unit to correct for tire size. Have you seen a difference between the speedo and the displayed cruise control message when set?
Great video. I just installed literally in minutes. I turned of auto stop and dfm. I played with the sensitivity and put it on 2. But none of that got rid of the delay or pause from cruising around 40 mph to going to full throttle or activating the passing gear. I was told this would get rid of that. Any suggestions?
Welcome to the Pulsar life. Put one on my 21 Trail boss 6.2 two weeks ago and so far it's the best thing I've bought. Next will be a Ready Lift 2" lift.
Two weeks later his is broken

@@JohnD0129 no issues with mine after 4 months. I did remove mine for 3 weeks for a free Oil Change from the dealership but when I went to plug it back in 3 weeks later(had to go to work); it had remembered all my settings and I didn't have to readjust anything.
Good job on the video man. Contrary to popular belief this will not, unfortunately, solve all our problems with the 6.2 AFM. The engine is still running on cheap AFM-type lifters which are damaging the cam itself. I have just a little over 27,000 miles on mine and I am going to do the delete soon and install new lifters and a cam and also install the Pulsar LT for the other items. You smile every single time you put your foot in the gas which is a perfect example of "Smiles per Gallon". GM has a good motor but we have to do a couple of tweaks to it to make it just right. Keep up the good work. Liked and Subbed.
Incorrect. The lifters aren't the issue. The dfm damages the lifters.
Ive got 180k miles on my 2019...zero problems.
What mileage was on the engine when you disabled afm/dfm? Ours has 55k and I'm ready to move forward with the pulsar lt.
Yep in bout I dunno 12-15 years from now when I can afford this truck will definitely be purchasing this device. Until then I'll be rocking my 05' yukon. Nice truck man.
Careful. His engine blew up recently. Could have been due to this mod.

Really nice looking truck I like how do you have everything set up nice rim and tire package but seems like regardless the truck everything always seems to be 10mm lol
Very niche looking truck! What is your tire and wheel setup? Did you have to do a level or lift, if so what height? Spacers installed, etc? Thank you.
What size tires are you running on that trail boss? Did you have to lift it or cut anything to make those fit? My stock 2020 trail boss has Good Year Wrangler 275/65/R18’s but I want a wider tire that may give me a little sidewall poke without lifting or cutting anything and was curious if 305/60/R18’s would fit. Thanks, and love your channel.
That's Awesome brother 💯 , I just subbed to your channel 👍. I got a 2018 Z71 4x4 with 15,000 miles on it and eventually I would like to put one of those in my truck 💯 ,mine has the 5.3 engine and on a closed track , all factory stock , it was up to 118 and it had no effect on cutting power , I thought it said 105 was top on the 5.3 all stock ?? I guess I will see when I put one of those system's in like you did 👍 ,great video brother 💯 . I did buy the truck with only 2 miles on it as well , just a fyi , cool
After having my 2021 Lt Trailboss engine rebuilt at only 4,000 miles (lifters, pushrods, injectors) and the catalytic converter and exhaust system replaced at 6,000 miles, I am damn glad I hadn’t modified anything. I would have been eating repair costs on my lemon of a Chevy for sure. More power to you (literally), but I wouldn’t roll the dice on it after my experience.
They didn't just give you a new truck?
What happened to the exahust system?
@@jtotherog nope. Wouldn’t give me a new engine either because engine block wasn’t cracked. They extended powertrain warranty to 100,000 miles and gave me some accessory cash. I’m currently going through lemon law process…and it IS a process…
@@bradyanderson6840 the thought was fuel dumped into the exhaust system after the push rod, lifters, injector issues and combusted in catalytic converter. It was all blown apart in there.
@@wjmilnerii damn man i hate that for you. I really do. Listening to these stories has me leaning towards a ford with lifetime warranty. Who tf knows tho honestly
Was there something about cruise control potentially not working with this? Great video BTW 😁
I have a Pulsar lt too and I love it. It was super easy to setup and it made my truck a beast. Turning off auto stop/start and the dfm was great too. I actually exchanged my range afm/dfm disabler for the pulsar lt and they gave me a discount ! 😂
Exchanged? How?
@@fredp3088 I called range technology and told them that I wanted to buy the pulsar lt but I already had the little Afm/dfm disabler that they sell. I asked to return it but they said it had been too long after purchase date. They offered to discount the Pulsar lt (100$ off) if I sent my original disabler back to them.

Awesome! Thank you for doing a COMPLETE video on this. I have a 2021 GMC Sierra AT4 (6.2) and hate the AFM, start/stop, and throttle response. I am sold. Quick questions tho, does this unit affect the truck when in "Sport" or "Off-road" mode? Is cruise control affected? Right now I run my truck in L9 and push the button for AFM/DOD every time I get into the truck. Thanks again
I just installed it on my 2021 TrailBoss 6.2. So far so good. Only issue I’m experiencing is the passenger side blind spot mirror light coming on and off.
@@JohnD0129 -- Hmmm.
Cruise control switches from outside button on left panel of steering wheel to inside button on left panel. Inside button is now both on & off. (Hope that makes sense.)
What do you find the difference between the in line pulsar and a typical obd 2 dash programmer setup ?
Range Technology advertises that this will actually help eliminate lifter issues with these trucks, however you obviously had that problem with yours. Just wondering if you installed this product before or after you had that problem. It's really the one thing that's keeping me from making a 2022 silverado my next purchase.
Hey man great video. What air intake and box do have installed
Which is better between this and the range technology disabler I'm trying to decide which one to get if any 2021 gmc sierra at4 5.3
is there something similar for 2018 gm? with afm and throttle response?
What type of rims and tires you got on it? They look nice👌🏻
Does it pass emissions testing after installation in Texas?
Thanks for awesome video!
Do you have to keep resetting the desired throttle response everytime you restart the truck, since you aren’t actually saving the setting with the cruise control button like you do with the other settings through the Pulsar Lt?

Does it turn off the idle timer where it turns the truck off?
Awesome! Worth it just to get rid of the stupid speed limiter!
Do you still have this mod after the engine failure? I have a trail boss and am thinking about getting

question if I get hold of one would be be able to help me to install it? thanks
Well that work ona 5.3 engine too what kind of exhaust u have on the truck sounds nice
I want to know if you or anyone has actually looked into whether or not this has to be removed before taking in for service?? I read that this does not modify the truck itself so the warranty is not void. But I also keep seeing that people remove these before taking in for service. Seems like a pain if so.
How does this affect the MPG on the truck?
I have the 22 5.3 trailboss but not the refreshed version. But when i put my vin in it says i do have the refreshed version and it wont work.

I make the circuit boards for the Pulsar LT. I have one on my 2019 5.3. It's amazing. It woke my truck up. It also solved the problem of lifters going bad resulting in bent or thrown rods. I recommend this to anyone with a 2019 or newer 6.2 5.3 GMC/Chevy.
I saw a similar video where it helps with the hard downshift from 3 to 2 or 2 to 1? Did you notice that hard shift before and, if so, did it correct it?
