Is the data inside still intact? Is this just a normal switch on or is it a factory reset?
If you just exit without reformat as exactly told in the video, your data will be there.

I've had my OnePlus 8T since like April 2021... I swear with updates the phone has improved over time, only issue is the power button just got stuck... I'm sure this will work with all oneplus models???

My phone is stuck in the fastboot screen , I cant go back or select any option because power button is dead
Yes, unfortunately the touch screen does not work in this mode. I also got stuck here too when I was experimenting, and I tried everything to exit it. I believe without the power button, your only choice is to let the battery die and the phone to switch off. Then, after the battery dies, start again with the method shown in my video. Apologies, I personally can't help more in this case.

My Oneplus 3T is starting with the Oneplus charger itself.. But dats it.. Only the screen dat u showed appears(Oneplus) and then it shows the symbol of battery charged (100%) and the small green light starts and then nothing comes.. No factory reset or reboot screen.. What should I do? How to start my phone? Plz help..
Did you follow the steps shown in this video? If yes, then maybe your volume down button is also defective, as reported by others. Try it again a few times and maybe it will work, but if the volume down button is also broken there's no solution except to take it to a repair shop.
@@NoBrainerTalk Yes.. Thanx for your prompt reply.. Unfortunately repair shops here in India don't stock all these small parts. Shipping from the States or Europe is a costly affair.. Let's see though. Will try asking around.. Thanx again for your reply. 🙏
@@NoBrainerTalkin my case the power button works but only from the inside 😅.. it's like the button itself got broken but not the actual switch inside the pcb board.. you never want to let the battery to die.. else I end up opening the phone and switching from the inside..
PS1: volume down button also screwed
PS2: so reluctant to change my phone 😅
@@valeka2 Hi there, I don't think there is any way to turn it on when both buttons are broken, but in your case it sounds you need a replacement case?
