More info: Igor Presnyakov studied classical music at a nearby academy and would eventually graduate as both a guitarist and a conductor for ensembles. His unique acoustic guitar-style is influenced by various musical genres from Reggae, Rock and Roll, R&B, Country-western, Jazz and Heavy Metal. Igor also rarely sings any of the lyrics to any kind of song that he covers, and instead skillfully translates them into a guitar melody, having his instrument sing the words.

I have listened to so many covers of this song and it really makes you realize how good of a song it is. On any instrument the melody is so amazingly beautiful. A modern classic that Will stand the test of time.

Slash was a genius, every single note he made was just awesome. He could turn any melody into a masterpiece in a matter of minutes, just with improvisation. And Igor is a genius turning all these songs in the acoustic guitar!

Ich bewundere Igors Gabe schon seit Jahren. Und nach wie vor füllen meine Augen Tränen der Rührung, wenn ich die Kommentare anderer Bewunderer seines Talents lese. Grossartig, wie Musik und Zuneigung keine Grenzen kennen. Er hat es verdient, denn er erweckt ein Gebilde aus Holz und etwas Metall zum Leben, was unser aller Herz berührt. Daniel Fletcher I agree with you 100%, but look at the age difference. Sungha Jung is 18 - 19 years old, the level he is at right now is insane. Igor looks to be about 50+ and has (presumably) spent easily over 20 - 30 years playing and mastering guitar.

Sir Sparky I think the difference is in the passion, you know? Sungha Jung play guitar so well as Igor, but is very tecnical... Igor plays with emotion, i love this!

Sungha's technical skill is already superior than Igor if you ask (and has since he was like 13). I do like them both, 'tho. Sungha's right hand is very strong, fast, independant and extremely accurate. Not only it is visible in his arpeggio technique and right hand alternation movements, but also in the percussive effects such as bass thumps and flicks. Again, I still appreciate both a LOT.

I DONT KNOW what it is. somehow i just can't get myself to like this guy's covers. in my opinion they seem to lack the drive and the soul of the original song. he tends to over complicate things by playing around with rhythms, adding syncopations and using chord variations which kills the natural flow of the song. i respect him tremendously as a fellow musician for his extensive repertoire, fluency and skill, but somehow it just doesn't click. i'd prefer to listen to sungha jung for instance, or even just other skilled amateur fingerstylists on youtube.
you realy have no idea about music, sungha jung have a half part of the flow of iguor, wath igor do is exactly add syncopations and use more chords than the original version, and that make more complicate and better practicaly any song.
Igor adds his own soul. That is what makes this - in my opinion - absolutely brilliant. It feels fresh and interesting.

I've compared Igor's version of this song with Sungha's version and Igor his version is way better by far (in my opinion). Keep in mind Igor probably has more experience since he's probably 3-4x older. They're both great artists tho.
