I've always liked high output moving coil cartridges. I guess this Hana is one of the best for the price. It sounds incredibly clean.

You CAN most certainly get HIGH output MC cartridges, in fact Hana make them.
@@iant7964 i was ofered a Hana SL (not sure)but it was expensive so he kept the Hana because he was already using it on a thorens turntable from the 90´s as i have a equal turntable that originally came with a not available today blue stylus MKII mc type from Ortofon ,so he ofered me instead a AT-art9 which is ok not as good as the ortofon that today are not as good as they were also bought for my old 79 SL-1000MKII a Ortofon Cadenza black S(ass) that when i look at it i told the seller(a friend of mine) that the stylus tip had fallen, to which he replyed ,it can happen but then he laughed and said "today all are like this "so ,less hours of use and the sound allthough it´s very good ,it as a good frequency response, but less dynamic sound compared to the old shure, that at the moment i don´t recall it´s model,but it was a 79 too. Because in the technics has a separeted pre-amplifier for MC type stylus and the thorens is conected to a amplifier with volume for the mc type cartridges i didn´t notice the Hana having high output, normally it´s in the minimum than i turn it´s volume up this regarding the volume for mc type on both turntables, no matter what i´ve said , the Hana did notice having a very good sound but too expensive when needing substitute

Magnifico video . Tengo una Hana ML ( la misma , pero de baja salida) y me parece que es lo mejor que se puede comprar a ese precio . El sonido es magnifico , se codea con cápsulas que le triplican en precio .Es super natural y al mismo tiempo muy detallada con unos magníficos bajos . Escarba los surcos como pocas dando muchísima información de la grabación . Enhorabuena y gracias por tu trabajo.

Poniéndome al día, veo que tienes otros videos subidos muy recientemente, los mismos comentaré mas luego.
Este tema cuando vi la miniatura, pensé que se trataba de un video hecho con anterioridad, es decir un "reaparecido" o mas bien un video el cual había comentado previamente pero resulta que no lo es. Este, al momento de escribir aquí(24-mayo-2022), es un video nuevo.
Es un tema muy bonito, sobre todo nostálgico. Me adhiero a los comentarios, las bondades en tu canal hace que todo aquí se escuche mejor, Excelente audio 👍👍
Te quedaron muy bien la inserción de imágenes, es un gran trabajo, los fans de esta banda o mas bien de este Álbum 5 estrellas, lo apreciarán mucho más. Se dice por ahí que la Hana es uno de los mejores MC del mundo. Todo apunta a que no son exageraciones o sobre estimaciones.
Antes de que se me olvide, me mencionaste hace un tiempo que me enviarías un e-mail, no me ha llegado, estaré muy pendiente para recibirlo.

Dios mio que vaina que suena bien, tanto tiempo esperando un buen rip de esta cancion la mejor de Dire Straits y ha valido la pena en grande, eso parece digital en la limpieza por el excelente tracking de la Hana y ese plato que parece un Rega suena mejor que el 1200mk2, en fin eso suena mortal, Di landro aprende!!
La he grabado a un nivel un tanto bajo porque creo que le sienta muy bien a este tema. La hana con el RP8 suena de muerte, cierto :P Parece que la hubieran hecho pensando en este giradiscos, jeje.
Tengo 66 años y me emociono como en aquel 1985. Grandioso.
the cartridge it´s a very good one ,the SL-1200 sounds much beter if using a better cartridge and developed in the 70´s and the SL-1200 it´s not the best turntable from technics ,but an average one and works perfect with more than 40 years of use, the RP don´t really know if it will last half of it

MoFi lab vinyl is unbeatable! Not comparison no other tanks for the investment
I am amazed at the low needle friction noise compared to my near mint but noisier original 1985 vinyl pressing.
Audio quality is only as good as the weakest point. In this instance, RUclips's limits.

I’ve just bought the Abbey Road Half Speed Master played on my Rega P8 and now it sounds a bit ‘warmer’ but superb detail just like this version so thanks for the lovely video well done Sir😎👍
My pleasure :) I own the Abbey Road Studios reissue and it sounds nice but a bit too 'bright' compared to this MFSL edition. Overall, I prefer the MoFi :)
@@HiFisquarepants Thanks for your reply. Which Hana Cartridge are you using ? I use a Rega Atheta 3 which is probably a bit more bright sounding than a Hana. I did contemplate getting a Hana and maybe I will next year or so👍

The standard Album just cut that lovely peace towards the end off, I only new it was there when I got the CD, I haven't checked but this Master version seams to be extended further. It is one of my favourite tracks as well.
this was one of the first albums recorded digitally and not all songs sound the same i have the record and recentelly bought a box of cds with all the Lp´s that shows less dynamic than the vinil version , but that also happens with other lp´s recorded digitally , sounds better the vinil compared to the cd version , the matter is the cd format limitations as the dynamics

Yo estaba entre la Rega P8 y la Technics SL1200G, decidi e. La technics por estabilidad y porque tengo vta on the fly. Pero que turntable se escucha muy bien . Es la p8 o rp8?
Hola Jerry :) Es un Rega RP8, lo tengo ya hace unos 8 años, pero esta es la primera vez que le coloco la hana MH. Le queda pefecta ;-) Los Technics tienen un sonido más preciso, mientras que giradiscos de tracción por correa como este RP8 ofrecen un sonido más redondo y cálido. Es cuestión de gustos...Saludos :)
