You guys seem to be loving these reviews.. I am focussing on products i already use and will be moving on to some new trials asap so let me know if there are any products you want me to try xx
I've been using the glow tonic for over a year now & I'm swapping to this. I've just turned 30 so it's a nice introduction to retinol! Love your videos. Thank you x
I used to use one retinol product and my skin was glowing ! I have to find that product again! Thanks for sharing on having to look at the strength of retinol
Found this at CVS on clearance from 19.99 to 4.75. Bought 2, with my CVS bucks and paid less than 4 dollars for 2! Didn't know how good it was so find this video. New sub! Thx❤️
Love you and your personality OMG! and I love me a good retinol product. I have def. used other Pixi retinol products and I agree they are almost unparalleled for the price point.
I would love for you to try the Youth To The People kale and green tea cleanser! I've been skeptical about purchasing it, because it is very expensive, but I've heard so many great things. Your opinion on it would mean so much to me!
Well i have finally got round to ordering this one :) and it's on its way. I honestly can't wait to try it as you say its fantastic and you know your skincare so i will let you know what i think xx
@@MadAboutSkin I'm excited to hear what you think. I first learned of it through Hyram as he constantly raves about it. It's a bit pricey for a cleanser but that's a pretty important step in my skincare routine as I dont want to strip away too many oils so spending a bit more is OK by me. I dont mind spending a bit more on skincare when I feel like it's necessary and I'm still looking for a replacement for my hydrating cleanser from Cerave cause when it's gone I'm switching out to a cruelty free brand. The Oat Cleansing Balm from The Inkey List is arriving today but that's more of a first step cleanser and I need a replacement for the 2nd step one if that makes sense. Lol.
Love your videos, you've got a new subscriber! Despite being 44 I am a complete novice when it comes to skin care. I have always washed my face with just water then moisturised. But since turning 40 my skin became a total nightmare of dry patches with greasy spotty forehead, nose and chin. I tried so many different products but the more I put on it the worse it became. That was until I found the Pixi Glow Tonic a month ago and have been using it once a day since and the difference is amazing! My dry patches, grease and spots have gone and my skin feels a lot smoother. However if I skip a day and just use water then the grease returns so it feels like I'm a slave to Pixi now lol. But as I have mature skin (silently weeping 😥🤣) I wanted to try this retinol tonic but am unsure if I can use it as well as the Glow Tonic and how often should I use the retinol? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hey hun thank you so much for sharing and for taking the time to comment... I totally agree with you the glow tonic has changed so many peoples skin and its lovley for brightening and for giving us that all over glow.. The retinol tonic is also great and you can use the two together.. I would apply the glow tonic in the morning and the retinol tonic in the evening then your not using them together and risking irritation.. I hope this helps xx
@@MadAboutSkin thank you very much for your advice, that's definitely a help. I will give the am glow tonic and pm retinol a try and see how it goes 😊 xx
So I'm guessing the same applies to the rest of the products in this retinol collection, particularly their Retinol Cleanser? I've never used retinol, but I do have their entire collection at home, wondering if it's a waste :(
Love this review! For retinol beginners like me would you recommend using this daily? And do I use it in the AM or PM? And could I layer it with other skincare products? Thank you!
HI hun thank you so so much for watching and for your lovely comment.. I think this is a low enough strength that you can use it every day with no problem and that will maximise the results.. I hope this helps xx
Great video as well.. Im using this at the moment as my first retinol but i want to step it up once this bottle is through.. Which would you recommended i move on to?
Try The Inkey List retinol but don't go straight in with using it daily. Use it twice or even once a week at first and continue w that for 4 weeks then increase it by one day per 4 weeks until you're using it daily.
I'm personally using Cerave's retinol serum once daily and haven't noticed any sensitivity along w it. But I'm also using Differin Gel on altering nights and that is causing a lot of sensitivity and dryness but it's on another level of retinoid under trentinoin which is by prescription only.
Thanks hun.. I love so many of their products but they have a couple of misses too.. Overall they are cruelty free, fairly priced and effective so you can't go wrong xx
Hey hun.. I love most of the things from Lacura but didn't know they did a retinol toner so I am heading over to try but it now. Thank you for the heads up xx
