So refreshing to see an episode with a person content with his career and life. Masin has a genuine and honest vibe. Would love to hear more of his stories! Great conversation, the pair of you!
OMG I love his honesty talking about transsexuals. This right here is a man that is very secure with himself. He just gets better and better the longer I watch this video.
This guy is awesome! He's a good story teller and has some fantastic stories. While I could kind of see the Legolas cosplay strip, I'm still laughing over what stripping as Columbo must have been like! "...There's just one more thing!" 😂😂😂
I came back to this video just to say, please bring Masin back. He seems to just be able to talk for hours and he is one entertaining guy to listen to.
18:14 he was asked if he ever gets depressed and he says "quite the opposite" then starts talking about meeting celebrities. He dodged that question like a bullet. He seems like a really good person and I just hope that when all his fun is over that he is truly happy.
@@karleet that's some creative military terminology right there I genuinely find you pretty cool just from a few words :) what I'm trying to express is basically why those words? This might sound a little misogynistic but it's super cool to hear a girl talk about fighter craft counter measures. Is that something people say where you're from or are you familiar with it from hobbies, interests, or family/friend background?
The questions he asked were not derogatory and allowed Masin to get excited and feel heard when strippers are almost never spoken to or interviewed like that publicly which I appreciate. What he said about most women’s intentions when hiring a stripper vs. most men’s is pretty telling when it comes to some differences between men and women and their overall threat to society/responsibility for the problem. The sex work industry is extremely dangerous for women but not that way for people like Masin.
I would love to see a follow up with this guy. While I find many of these interviews incredible and all of them at least interesting, so many are just soul shattering. This was a welcome change of pace without sacrificing the overall intent of the series.

My husband died suddenly when our 3 youngest sons were 7, 6 and 6. It is so difficult for a family to survive that. Each person comes close to breaking. I talk to many widowed parents every day. Parenting grieving children, getting them through it, while you are grieving, at that insane level of grief, shock and absolute devastation, is one of the toughest jobs on earth. Give your Mom a hug. 💕
Hope you are doing well. I think the parent left behind loses the will to parent in a way. You are meant to do it together, then you are suddenly alone.

It's interesting to notice that a male stripper doesn't feel used by his clients despite being clearly objectified, which is almost impossible for female strippers according to what I've seen on this channel. Beautiful interview once again.
Well, we just saw 1 person, who knows how male strippers feel if they had to make their money by stripping for only male customers. He talked about stepping into that gay bar, and having to leave, because he wasn't ready for that. Women are patronized in this world, but you know that.
They do what they want. If the women want him do do something he doesn't do, he refuses. It's harder for female strippers. This guy has a perfect personality for his job. Good for him. 100%
So far the best guest ever. So lively, fun & omg would love to know his stories!! Crazy lol. Was entertained the whole time. When he’s discussing what women do in sex work and says “I don’t want to call it degrading, it’s not degrading” as he looks at the camera. Damn. This guy is good people. Regardless of anything else, that was a sincere moment and this dudes got a good heart.
@@topanteon sex work definitely doesn’t need to be degrading inherently. Unfortunately I’d imagine it can be quite degrading for many people because of the way it’s viewed and treated by society.
@@HE-162 Society this , society that. Totally wrong. women and men view of sex is different. Even the women's body is more vulnerable than that of men . Women are sensitive more than men. Men wouldn't mind not even knowing whoever they are having sex with, in other words they don't mind being objectified or objectifying others. Meanwhile women want to be appreciated, cared for by the person they have sex with. So it's absolutely normal and expected for a woman to feel degraded by becoming a stripper. And it's also not surprising that he wouldn't get it , like I said men don't mind being sexually objectified or objectifying others. It is possible to find a male stripper who hasn't had any childhood trauma but a woman stripper, very rare. If anything it's usually connected to sexual trauma. no woman willingly exposes herself to such unbearable lust from men thrown her way just like that
Being a stripper is one thing. Being a stripper in Vegas is a whole different world. This man has for sure seen and heard EVERYTHING. He is super hot, but his personality is even hotter.
He's certainly entertaining and appears to be a pretty genuine dude. I love how he takes care of his old stepdad, it really does say a lot about the kind of guy he is.
I love how this Masin literally just laughs off the interviewer's attempt to project his own hang-ups: "You don't feel depressed, or...?" "You must need to have a thick skin," "You don't feel degraded?," etc. "Naw man, if a girl is comfortable with her life choices and she's having fun, then it's not degrading." Exactly.
This dudes personality and energy is phenomenal.. Just a great attitude towards anything. The way he engages in his story's and don't judge anyone is such a vibe. Keep killin' it broo.! Don't ever change.

He's obviously adjusted somewhat well, but you can tell he has an underlying nervousness. He must have confidence, but I truly believe it's a mask for someone who is very insecure on the inside. If I was in a conversation with him, I couldn't relax. His body language and vocal inflections indicate that his mind is racing.
I agree 100%. Nobody confident answers “am i?” When told they are confident. I hear a who?! What?! Huh?! Where?! Amialright?! Everythingcool?! In his voice. Very wound up but practiced at presenting as confident. I used to be similar until I relaxed and am actually confident now, and consequently, very relaxed. Likable guy though for sure.
I feel like I talk just like him (excited but nervous) and i worry that I can’t make ppl feel comfortable. In my case it’s because of all my life trauma…

Family being ok with their kid dancing naked for people in front of them? Support from afar is good but that’s odd. Way deeper issues here.
Nah some people can just be supportive bc they don’t view sex work as a bad thing, which they shouldn’t. Sex workers are only feeding a demand that others have created. And luckily it makes $$$
@@femininejewel to some people it isn’t. To a lot, it can feel like everything when you don’t have anything else. And to some, they just like money lol. Let people live their lives regardless

But that's nothing, wait till they watch this video! - It's all out there now anyway! ;-)
Maison your life is literally a movie, never a dull day. We need to hear more stories from you :) also I feel like were all human beings, and that he has probably seen some horrific and traumatic things. But because his being doing the stripper industry for so long, he has become desensitised to things, hope he feels complete happiness.
Everyone acts like it's so bad to say a bad word about their parents even when their own parents are neglectful or abusive or abandoned them, etc. I don't understand this societal stigma but if your parents weren't capable of taking care of you and didn't, you shouldn't live in denial and should admit that they just plain sucked and messed you up, and then you can be free to start to heal.
He's got such genuine fun-loving energy. Some people are just cut out to be entertainers and share that energy with people who need it. Hope nothing but the best for his future and hope LA doesn't ruin him- LA stripping scene is very bizarre and deranged and it the depressive energy feeds off on ppl. When your job is to connect w people energetically, you are so vulnerable to that energy. I've seen some happy, naive, and talented entertainers from the midwest losing it and falling into some weird shit within a second. Get what you can and get the f out of here and you'll be fine :)

What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
Be positive. Treat everyone with kindness. This seem to be the common thread among the happiest people. Whether it’s coming from Clifford in Appalachia (“you gotta be gentle”) or Masin in Vegas. Truer words have never been spoken. Keep enjoying doing you Mason! ❤️

18:59 when he stutters and says, “it’s the quite opposite” for the second time. It feels a bit contrived.
Classic chaff and redirect
Lol. I believe he meant what he said, “Quite the opposite,” nuff said.
I feel like he was trying to convince himself how great everything is. I wish him the best.
I loved the questions you asked him. It’s such an important perspective to hear the difference between what male and female strippers experiences are.
Elana...can you please elaborate on that?
Absofknlutely lol couldn’t have possibly said it any better myself. Agree 1000% man. Past few I’ve watched (& partially binged) have been most definitely beyond soul shattering for me so I can def feel that lmao💯🥴😩😭😭😭💀

When he’s discussing what women do in sex work and says “I don’t want to call it degrading, it’s not degrading” as he looks at the camera. Damn. This guy is good people. Regardless of anything else, that was a sincere moment and this dudes got a good heart.
Nothing about sex work is degrading. It's just that women are conditioned by society to feel degraded.
@@topanteon sex work definitely doesn’t need to be degrading inherently. Unfortunately I’d imagine it can be quite degrading for many people because of the way it’s viewed and treated by society.
How does him saying he won't call it degrading make him good people?
If anything it's usually connected to sexual trauma. no woman willingly exposes herself to such unbearable lust from men thrown her way just like that
@@dearbrave4183 ah yes, the man who is an expert on womens psychology and sex work.

He's certainly entertaining and appears to be a pretty genuine dude. I love how he takes care of his old stepdad, it really does say a lot about the kind of guy he is.
I love how this Masin literally just laughs off the interviewer's attempt to project his own hang-ups: "You don't feel depressed, or...?" He's obviously adjusted somewhat well, but you can tell he has an underlying nervousness. He must have confidence, but I truly believe it's a mask for someone who is very insecure on the inside.
