Just came on to see what Everett was like. Coming for a visit. Looking for what I should see when there.
Tons of homeless people in Everett, drugs, high crime.
Stop spewing none sense
Everett is a good place to live if you home school or don't have kids in public school. The YMCA is new and inviting. Everett has good Parks and Recreation activities available during all 4 seasons.
If you have kids in public school, go somewhere else. The Everett School District has been awful for many, many decades (if not forever). Don't even consider Mill Creek. They are in the Everett S.D. too. Mill Creek tried to create their own school district, so they could get their kids out of the Everett S.D. But they were not successful. Every so often though, they keep giving it a try.
Until the Everett S.D. has an administration that focuses on creating a "quality, well-rounded public education that is taught in an efficient manner", they will continue to be at the bottom of the barrel for educating our youth. Unfortunately, excuses are all we get from staff and administrators, while they continue to make their 6-figure salaries.
Yeah school can be pretty awful being a student myself with Cascade High having probably the worst bathrooms in the district with a bunch of students smoking and schools being pretty old such as Everett High and Evergreen although the Everett High NJROTC is great and something I enjoy although Everett High has had a bunch of Sexual Assault with the principal resigning and North Middle School having a povery rate around 64% if I can recall and Eisenhower Middle School getting increasingly unsafe.
I'm the one who shot the Ariel vew. When they threw me out of Lake Stevens.

Thinking of relocating here but after the comments I'm definitely cautious. Would be for work. That, and Phoenix AZ is the worst city in America and i might die if i have to stay here another year 😭

To be living in Everett is rewarding to me. I am enjoying living in Everett than any other cities.
I like the way it look clean, fresh and quiet. No too much traffic like Renton and Bothell.
FYI: I used to live in Renton, Bellevue, Bothell and Lynnwood.

I heard there’s been a lot crime lately. How true is this? That makes me hesitate to make the move to Everett.
@@JorgeCasanovaC I moved to South Everett from Bellingham back in August and it all comes down to where you live, I would avoid anywhere near highway 99, Casino Rd, airport rd, 128th(west of i5). I live by the mall and so far it’s been quiet despite living down the street from the “jungles”. I would recommend looking into the Mill Creek area although it’s more expensive.

Absolutely, there are some great areas. Southeast Everett, Lake Stevens, and Snohomish are some great spots

@@Saltwater_Odysessy Ouff to sum up a year in a yt comment. Overall pretty good. Been active. The mountains out here can be very beautiful when the sun is out. Definitely pick up a winter hobby to stay busy. Get out of the city as much as possible. Rent in Everett is actually not cheaper than in Seattle so I'm living in NE Seattle.
EVERETT BLOWS, and Boeing constantly lays off by the thousands.

@@guitardude0909 Not as bad as it was. I live in Pinehurst not bad at all here. The police are getting after the homeless drug problem way better then Seattle is. Everett hired a bunch of the police Seattle defunded with a hireing bonus. Much better here then Seattle.
Lock your doors, and if you're expecting an amazon delivery ... 25% chance the package even gets to the door.
@@tornadoalleystudios2283 Depends on where you live. We shop constantly on Amazon. Packages coming two or three times a week or more. Only had one stole off the porch in the last year that was before we got cameras.
This place is NOT somewhere to live. There are gangs, drugs, and horrible neighborhoods everywhere. The cost of living isn't at least cheap either. The crime rate is literally higher than Tampa, Florida to put it in perspective. In the winter time, the sun sets as early as 4:30 PM and the place always rains. Unless you get some sort of high-wage job, I cannot think of a reason to stay here. The weather is always like 30 - 50F year-around, outside of the summer, and you cannot swim at the beaches- it's way too cold. None of the beaches are sandy either.
that's crap if you learn the back roads you can make it during rush hour from Everett to Seattle or vice versa in about 35 minutes if you know the back roads

Everett BLOWS-DO NOT MOVE THERE! Place will kill you. All of us kids who grew up there moved OUT of the place the second we could.
Don’t bring your Seattle politics to Everett. This is why you’re leaving Seattle.
Can you say which areas are safe and which are not. All these Seattle real estate folks keep acting like it’s a happy go lucky suburb Lmfao. Tons of homeless people, drugs and nudity too! .
