I know you didn't take too much research on killing floor, i can understand that, but i think Killing Floor story is much more interesting and understandable, unlike COD zombies, where story is turning back n fourth
and about your question what happened to zeds
Crawler - The Crawler was an experiment in fusing species. In this case, a human and an arachnid. Much like the Clot, it is one of the few who valiantly defend the Patriarch during the final wave, and also makes mention in the midst of its garbled dialogue that "We love our father".
Gorefast - The original story behind the Gorefast is that they were the end result of a project similar to that of the Scrake, but toned down to an extent, designed to create extremely strong and fast soldiers. While the project was a success, the soldiers became insane, consumed with constant rage and an obsession with pain.
Stalker - Created by Project Stalker in Horzine Research Bunker 6 deep in the Wyre forest, Players can find the remnants of the lab that led to the rise of this specimen; a semblance of Kevin Clamley's daughter, Rachel. Failed Stalker experiments lay on the table phasing in and out of camouflage. A glimpse of the lab's descent into madness can be found on the lab walls and floors: phrases such as "Hide and go Eat" and "You are the prettiest when I can't see you."
Bloat - The Bloat is one of the more disturbing specimens created by Horzine, mainly because not all Bloats were clones. Horzine experimented with drugs to maintain a soldiers physical body, designed to combat against fatigue, muscle loss, even old age. Advertising them as weight loss supplements, Horzine recruited hundreds of obese men, and experimented on them.
The drugs were a complete failure. The test subjects grew even more obese, and their immune systems were genetically enhanced into an overdrive, making all of the subjects body fluids a toxic acid. But because the overall body chemistry and structure of the Bloats remained the same (i.e. human) their bodies violently rejected the toxin, making them vomit whenever the acid reached a critical level. Furthermore, significant damage to their bodies resulted in a violent rupturing of the cells in the Bloat, causing it to explode in a spray of acid.
Clamley, watching the experiments with interest, ordered the projects continue. This makes the Bloat one of the few specimens not specifically designed as a super soldier, and the only specimen not made by cloning.
Husk - The Husk was part of a cybernetic enhancing experiment, in which the specimens underwent multiple procedures to create a soldier that could incorporate technology and utilize advanced bioprogramming. The Husk was fitted with a steel brace that supported the backcase for its fireball launcher, and given yellow cybernetic eyes that allowed it to computer-lock on to foes. After several attempts to train the specimens with the weapon, and failing, the scientists of Horzine simply removed the right arm and set the cannon on a nerve controlled platform.
Although they were generally considered a success, they were labeled as too dull to function properly as soldiers because of their simplistic programming, often times shooting each other when there were no other targets. When the London Breakout was initiated, hundreds of Husks were "re-booted", and walked out with their unfinished directives, which was lock on to the first living thing it found, and destroy it. It was the Husks that led the carnage in the break out, blasting the police cars and bystanders out of the way as the horde of specimens flooded out of the labs.
Siren - The Siren is a clone of Clamely's wife, who had long wanted to be a singer but lacked in talent. Their eyes were gouged out so that they could not see (thus, know when to scream), and they were all restrained with straitjackets. Kevin Clamely had a Siren kill his wife when she attempted to divorce him.
Scrake - The original story behind the Scrake is that it was designed to be the perfect field medic, able to take hideous amounts of pain while working on their patients in the field. While it was considered success because the Scrake could take an absolutely astounding amount of damage, it was considered a horrible failure at the same time. He could only learn by having wounds inflicted on himself, and much like the Gorefast, he became quite interested in pain.
Fleshpound - The story behind the Fleshpound is that they were developed by Horzine, to make super-soldiers. Fleshpounds were routinely injected with muscle growth stimulants and adrenaline cocktails to help build a titanic body, however it had the side effect of making them incredibly violent and quick to anger. After a few accidents, each Fleshpound was harnessed with a device to monitor their adrenaline levels, as well as to inject them with depressants and other chemicals in order to keep them calm. However, the device also served as a life preserver, as it would flood the Fleshpound's system with adrenaline and stimulants whenever it was in pain.
They were considered a failure, and the entire population of them was consigned to the lowest levels of Horzine's laboratory. When it came time to destroy them, the drugs used instead triggered their devices into action, allowing them to break free from their bonds and kill the laboratory's staff. However, they were never able to free themselves from the 'mace' restraints used to hold their giant fists at bay, which ironically makes them even better at pounding flesh. Their name stems from the few words that they knew.
Patriarch - Kevin Clamely, the Patriarch's original identity, was the CEO and founder of Horzine Biotech, the company responsible for the outbreak in London. He was hired by the government to create the perfect soldier-something that wouldn't experience pain or fear, and wouldn't question or reason. London was to be used as a staging ground-a test of Horzine's accomplishments. Kevin thought of the clones as his "children" and "family" because they were the only companions he had left.
Sergeant Masterson was Horzine's last project before the outbreak. He escaped from the Biotics Labs below the city through the sewer system to the city above, hoping that he could rebel against his mad creators. Sadly, this is what Kevin wanted all along; Masterson led his soldiers into combat, and they were killed just as Kevin had planned. With the British Disaster Response Force eliminated, nobody could stand in the way of the clones.
Horzine's methods were deemed too immoral even for such a controversial project, and were shut down. However, the project didn't want to be shut down. In a second complex deep underneath the city of London, the experiments continued.
Eventually, he realised that his work was in jeopardy. His scientists were leaving and he feared that someone may reveal his secret work to a world that wouldn't understand or even allow it. In a final act to save his dream, he asked the remaining scientists to take the most advanced pieces of technology at their disposal, and use the methods they had perfected over the course of their work to implant them into him:
An updated version of the cloaking device used on project Stalker
Three modified neuro-stimulation systems similar to those used on project Guardian
A nerve-controlled weapons platform on his left arm.
Finally, he underwent the same "gene-enhancing" process that all the specimens underwent, but with all the safeties off and the process running at full capacity. As Kevin walked out of the test chamber, he knew he had become as perfect as any human could hope to be.
When humans started murdering his "children", he knew that it was time to take the fight to them. Armies fell before him, none seemed to be able to kill him, or even harm him. He would continue his work alone, and create and protect more of his specimens until the day someone could finally work out how to kill him.
Hans Volter - Hans Volter, Brilliant German Scientist and Doctor from WW2, He found a way to extend his life from other people, once Zed breakout started to infest Europe, he started to lure some of them in and experimenting on them, creating Elite Clots, Elite crawlers, Gorefiends, King Fleshpound and Quarterpounds

The reason why you thought the characters were placed on various different map had a lack of story surprises me. Remember, Killing Floor is based on a group of survivors that survived the horrors of Horzine during the first game. The group was tasked in eliminating all the Zeds, (not zombies, you completely got the term wrong,) and to find Kevin Clamely and eliminate him. They moved through various different maps and eventually meet Rachel, who helps the group track down Kevin Clamely, and to stop Zed outbreak from spreading further. Kevin Clamely knew that they would track him, so he underwent a procedure that allowed him to become the perfect human being. He even cloned himself multiple times so when the cloned Kevin Clamely was released, he escapes through the tunnel system to Paris. Leading the group to Paris, and to do what they do best. Destroying and blowing up more Zeds.
The game actually has a story, and it was displayed during the first game and the Killing Floor 1.0 Mod.
You also got the idea of Horzine wrong. Horzine was originally making super soldiers for the British, which the British Government approved of. Until the outbreak of Zeds came due to the containment breach. The reason why you thought that Horzine was "turning people into zombies" was probably you thinking ABOUT Resident Evil, which is completely understandable due to the similar terms.
L4D2 has a COMPLETELY different idea when it comes to Versus mode. The infected are tasked with stopping the survivors from escaping completely, which means by killing them. You don't hide and than spawn in. You just get picked to a random Zed, and you just completely rush them and kill the survivors. L4D2 on the other hand, you have to SERIOUSLY hide just to spawn in as an infected, which is completely annoying since you wont get STRAIGHT into the action. I'm not arguing about what L4D2's Versus mode has to offer, but its a true fact.

was the first type of video I ever did so yeah next time I put more effort into researching, still though Horzine is like Umbrella cause the completely just made monsters and thought 'yeah that wont backfire' as for the verses mode, eh, its different mechanically but still you play as a zombo, only lfd is slightly easier cause it has room for tactics and not just rushing like an idiot and dying over and over, like with the charger and a body of water for example, super satisfying to also hunter pounce from mars too may I add

Killing floor 2 is the best there are 2 new bosses like the king fleshpound and the abomination. There is endless mode no DLC for it. You can be a robot now. The patriarch talks to you in endless mode it is so cool.

I play COD Zombies and Killing Floor 2, but I can tell you what my opinion are. Whether they be pros and cons, this is what I think.
Killing Floor 2 as of 2018
    Pros:
    - All DLC's on all content (Maps, Weapons, Seasonal Events) up to this point has been free.
    - A variety of specimens, aka Zeds, it gives it a challenge to really know your skills
    - Official Steam Workshop support. Custom maps, some of them are better than the official ones
    - Can customize your character and can choose your perk, no having to restart the game to find your character
    - Difficulty level is good. Zeds are tough depending on level (Normal, Hard, Suicidal, Hell on Earth)
    - Zed's attack, toughness, and difficult remains the same. Unlike COD, the zombie get so tough, it takes a full mag to kill one.
    - The gore system is pronominal, nothing is more satisfying seeing body parts fly all over the place.
    - I like how there are events which can keep your interest in the game (Halloween, Christmas, Summer, Etc)
    - Playing multiplayer online is fun. More zeds, more XP, lol!
    - I like how you can choose your class (perk), so it feels unique, you know what you're good at or not
    - When you get prizes from the seasonal events, you get to keep them! (Skins, props, characters, etc)
    - If guns are not your things, get some melee weapons and unleash your inner predator
    Cons:
    - Playing the same maps, custom or not, can get boring and repetitive
    - It needs more weapons, using the gun over and over is boring
    - There is no objective mode, no easter eggs, no sense of a story
    - Only 2 "real" bosses, the other bosses are just Zeds with metal attached, very cheap if you ask me
    - There are no good guns around the map, if you run out of ammo, or you don't a good gun after the trading pod, you're dead
    - PvP Zed mode is not very balanced
    - Updates are slow as heck. 3 years later we only got: 6 new weapon, and 4 new characters.
    Call of Duty Zombies, (WAW,BO3)
    Pros:
    - Lots and lots of custom maps, some of them are better than the official.
    - Easter eggs, I like them, it breaks the monopoly besides only just killing zombies
    - I love the perks, (Double Tap, Speed Cola, Mule Kick) because you don't have to choose a perk that has either or
    - UGX Mod Support, this is a huge game changer for WAW zombies. This makes you feel like your not even playing COD anymore
    - Lot of weapons, wall weapons (some are good), mystery box, some custom maps even have custom weapons!
    - I like the characters (Richtofen, Nikolai, Takao, Dempsey)
    - I like the idea that there is a story involved, so you know that the maps are connected to each other
    - Powerups come can in handy (x2, Max Ammo, Carparter)
    Cons:
    - DLC's are not free. This can be a problem, as some custom maps requires the game to have all DLC downloaded.
    - The multiplayer online is downright bad, you're better off playing solo, then deal with trolls and grievers on a session
    - All the zombies look the same, very few bosses, if there is any.
    - The newer COD Zombies maps are not up to par, they all feel the same. You're better off playing custom maps.
    - Zombie difficultly is f*cking ludicrous. It takes 3 hits and your down? Seriously?
    - After each wave, zombies gets so tough to the point you can't even kill them with guns that are Pack-A-Punched
    - After a while, you will get bored of doing the same thing over and over, (Easter eggs, weapons)
    - Some easter eggs are just so complicated, that you get discouraged doing them.
    - Some guns are only used in that particular map
    - I am not a big fan of mixing sci-fi with zombies, it just doesn't mix right
This is just my opinion, I know some people will not agree, but, consider I play both, this is what I think.

One more thing hope I'm not becoming too of a bother but there are actually Four bosses in Killing Floor now and the thing about repetitiveness and Killing Floor applies two Cod Zombies too I feel because once you get set up and once you done all the objectives you're just running around in circles for the most part just like in the old Maps

The bosses for cod zombies happen about every 5 rounds for example hell hounds, The "meatballs" from shadows of evil, the warden from mob of the dead ect. Point is that the bosses for easter eggs optional and are very hard for that reason because they are optional you dont have to do the easter eggs you can play the game normally.

    • @PalmerDudeGamingChannel
      @PalmerDudeGamingChannel  6 лет назад

yes but would you call a round with a couple of fleshpounds on killing floor a boss round? No, the term boss round is a community given name, at best they are mini bosses and require significantly less effort if any at all especially when it comes to meatball rounds or dogs, in fact since black ops 2 the dog rounds became laughably easy so yeah wouldnt say so mate

It's harder to get the guns you want to play with in cod so they get the point? Also in both games if you die your weapons vanish to Oblivion and all you're left with is the money you had....except in KF2 you can maybe find the gun you last had.

I played and used to owned every COD game that had Zombies. It always felt too limited and eventually grew boring and I stopped playing it all together. But once I heared about KF2 from friends and I started playing it with them I forgot all about COD Zombies and soon sold the games. KF2 is soo much fun and there's a sense of progression and different modes plus both Daily and weekly challenges too with free updates and gameplay patches as well also KF2 allows a 6 player squad in the original survival mode instead of just being limited to only 4. (romors say that tripwire might eventually update to 8 players) KF2 is better in my opinion.

think about it like this, of all the games with random i play on killing floor 2 on at least hard difficulty we were able to beat the boss more often than I thought, yet when i play with randoms on cod to this day i have not been in one lobby that got anywhere close, if you play with friends an communicate maybe its better but for people who just play the game casually its a pain in the ass and still you fail to understand that you must complete the easter egg to fight the boss, many people do not have time to sit and do that yknow including me, and that is my main problem with modern cod zombies maps, you need god damn game faqs if you play solo on a map you are new too, so i should rephrase that as a whole kf2 is better cause its more accessible
