AMEN. AMEN. AMEN. This is my life’s theme song. Yes the redeemed will indeed sing forever, Jesus Saves. Many thanks to that wonderful Prestonwood Choir, and to Todd Bell and his wife. God bless you wherever you are. We greatly miss you both.
How awesome to think one day VERY SOON we will ALL be around the throne of our God singing together in praise to HIM. Can't wait brothers and sisters See YOU all there.
Freedom's calling, chains are falling, hope is dawning bright and true. Day is breaking, night is quaking, God is making all things new. "Jesus saves." Praise The Lord!
aint god great, what a beautiful taste of the sweet truth of the sweetest of names, jesus has done the seemingly impossible, up from the grave he arose to save
Hear the heart of heaven beating, Jesus Saves Jesus saves And the hush of mercy breathing, Jesus Saves Jesus saves Hear the host of angels sing, Glory to the Newborn King And the sounding joy repeating, Jesus saves See the humblest hearts adore Him. Jesus saves Jesus saves And the wisest bow before Him Jesus saves Jesus saves See the sky alive with praise, Melting darkness in its place There is life forevermore, Jesus saves Jesus saves He will live our sorrow sharing, Jesus saves Jesus saves He will die our burden bearing Jesus saves Jesus saves "It is done!" will shout the cross, Christ has paid redemption's cost! While the empty tomb's declaring Jesus saves Freedom's calling, chains are falling, Hope is dawning bright and true Day is breaking, night is quaking, God is making all things new. Jesus saves Oh to grace, how great a debtor! Jesus saves Jesus saves All the saints who shout together. "I know that Jesus saves." Rising us so vast and strong lifting up salvation's song, The redeemed will sing forever, the redeemed will sing forever, the redeemed will sing forever, Jesus saves Jesus saves
It was even more amazing to be there, week after week. Almost every song was enjoyable! The sound blast from the choir was exhilarating! It was mind blowing! The music was fun to perform as well. Watching the expression on the faces of the choir members, was rewarding. The congregation was lifted out of their seats in praise, time and time again. It was like a foretaste of heaven. It was a real privilege to be a part of that for so many years.
I miss those days. The new Horizon project has a lot of really good music, and I am looking forward to getting that project in my current church down here in Austin.
www.jwpepper.com/10037395.item#/submit Most churches actually perform this without the soprano soloist, but Sheri always did an excellent job on this song.
It was not a movie but a video prepared specially for this song. In this video, individual members of the church, mostly from the choir, held up signs with words written out, spelling out the life they lived before coming to Christ. They were portrayed in bandage with physical chains as a symbol of that bondage, and they were symbolically freed from those chains.
I can't believe someone in the MUSIC department in that large church didn't see the wisdom of PURCHASING a large ORGAN for the sanctuary? What supidity?
That is uncalled for! The music we performed did not typically call for an organ, as organs typically drown out the diversity of musical instruments used to produce this type of music. The church has a very elaborate organ with much of the music instruments from the organ hidden from view under the stage. When called for, that organ can be elevated.
@@anabanana7599 I know. It's sad that they miss out on the beauty of the worship here in this video, because of something so silly. I miss Prestonwood, what it was when we were there! I miss that "dynamic worship" that I was able to experience first hand, and I wish Prestonwood could recapture it. It seems to have migrated south a bit, down to FBC Dallas. I haven't visited Dallas in over a year, but I think next time I go there, I will check out that church.
@@danieldeluca4936 people forget that the Praise and Worship isn't about us or for us. It's about Jesus and to Jesus. They could all have been tone deaf and singing, as long as their hearts were doing it for Him. Blessing's 😺
I felt like the song was boring, and the singers in the front are very distracting, however if you would let that glorious choir sing something traditional like Jim Cram's arrangement of Wherever He Leads, or Richard Smallwoods "Total Praise", then..............that would be Awesome.
You gotta be kidding! The audio on this recording is too soft and needs to be cranked up a few Decibels, but the song is anything but boring. This song is one of many that has been performed in churches across America, and some of those songs have gone international. That choir has also performed "Total Praise". Not too long ago, they were invited to sing in Carnegie Hall.
Here because of pastor Lawson who else found their way here?

It's reassuring to see comments about how awesome Christ is!
This is why you need a choir and not a rock band in church

Could someone tell me who is the author and arranger of this version?
Author Travis Cottrell - Arranger Bradley Knight who was on staff at Prestonwood at the time this video was made.
big earing wow
Reminds me of GTA 2 saving point called Jesus saves.
