I have played 6 years as a drummer in a Scottish band. And we used these exercises in both songs and as a warmup. Later in life I started drumming. And the control of these rudiments gave me an major head start...

    As a guitarist...
I feel as tho you broke that down to be understood by most 👍
    Nice job.

These videos are great and really helping me with learning my drumming. I started out with rocks but as I delved more into the big band style of jazz I just fell in love. Your drumming and videos are both incredible and the content you put out to help others is so appreciated

I always love the rudiments because if you can do them fast and with fluidity there is nothing you can't play on a kit. The brain/hand coordination it takes to play flam paradiddles at speed is just mind boggling.

Greyson. I would love to see you do Bobby Darin’s version of the song, Once In a Lifetime. The big band version with Jack Sperling on drums. I think you would kill it. Love Jack on that one. Go for it, Bro. 😊

Moreover, I think that the best value for any type of rudiment teaching is to see it in action... not only the exact copy of it as what it should sound at any given bmp (because frequency and amplitude changes perception in listening and in the playing)... but also over some track/free playing at its fullest. my 2 cents!

As a drummer myself, I'm only have to say, you can play in wtf band you want! I mean you are the ability to do so, but unfortunately some bands contract drummer because of the guy is son of someone famous...etc. Example Jay from Slipknot...much better drummers made the audition and why they chose him? Is father Max! Because he never was able to fill up the Joey shoes!!! I wish you all the luck in the world, your talent is something I can't put in words you are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 my dude🤟💯
