@@frout5277 bRuUuUuUhhhhhhhh That has literally nothing to do with it. Paul is probably the greatest songwriter in the 1900's and is/was both an amazing singer, and a great multiinstrumentalist. Rihanna has a good voice, don't get me wrong, but she doesn't have half of Paul's musicality. Nothing to do with race, some black legends include for example Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder. Paul and Stevie literally wrote the great song Ebony and Ivory, which is about racism and living together in peace.

I love this about Rihanna. When she first came out, I thought she was gonna fall into that Ashanti, Christina milian, cute female r&b/pop etc road. But she’s so versatile. Doing something like this, sometimes incorporating rock, collaborating with artists of different genres. Her voice isn’t like Whitney level, but she sings with such rawness. She’s awesome! even her outfits, sometimes she’s in a suits, something masculine, something feminine, sexy, whatever!

Paul's vocals during the chorus blended seamlessly with Rihanna and the backup singers, with Kanye staying in the pocket. It was clearly meant to be Rihanna's song and she shone, big time. Paul's rhythm guitar pointed the way for the musicians.

mickey if you ignore the controversy and just take into account his music, it shows that he has a supreme sampling technique and a keen ear for what sounds good.
