Wrong. He joined John Lennon's band, The Quarrymen, in 1957.
But when he says stuff like this, it's gives PID such a lift. He says he heard Stevie Wonder and then joined The Beatles. Clearly that's not true, chronologically speaking. So why say it like that? Because Stevie was part of the tribute? Well, yeah, that's just being respectful and gracious, but he needs to be more careful about this sort of thing.
It was exactly in this vid in 1990 I "met" the beaultiful "Maybe I'm Amazed". That time I have not internet still... So it was hard to find again that song!!
