    Great video man, I’m glad you brought up the issue about the tight fit. I completely messed up a brand new nato today because of this. Keep up the great work 👍🏼

      🤦🏾‍♂️ I lost two nato’s as well. I had to replace them because i loved them.
      Which tool do you use to remove the bracelet? I don’t think i can get mine back on, well i’m not trying but i don’t intend to until mid October, winter winter.

    • @timemycollection
      @timemycollection  Год назад +1

      Hi Angel,
      I would love an Artem Strap on my Explorer but the case of the 124270 is difficult and can damage straps.
      The sailcloth straps are quite thick. I do have some, but i have no confidence in threading the curved spring bars through the sailcloth. Sadly!

    I just bought a 214270 for this exact reason. Absolutely a strap monster. I love it on the green. I would have liked to have seen it on the yellow - I like that style, where is it from? Additionally I thought this model was 20mm? I'm a little concerned now...

    • @timemycollection
      @timemycollection  Год назад +1

      Unfortunately this model doesn’t allow easy strap change and strap wear.
      Your model and the 114270 are perfect with the 20mm.
      However, i use curved spring bars now and this solved the issue.
      I have some new videos with the bars and nato.
      The Explorer in any model is special 🙌🏾

      I love to hear that. It truly is the ONE watch needed. I currently want a Explorer 2 knowing I don’t need it. But yeah the Explorer is killing it!
      Do you wear yours on Nato or just bracelet.
      During the time of this video I wasn’t really a bracelet fan until i took it on a ski trip and the bracelet smashed it.
      If it got wet, no damp. Just warmed up under my clothes and with my body temp. The only issue is, some screws started to unscrew slightly ha! Maybe due to the cold and hot. Just got them tightened back in the UK. All good!
      Moral of the story. I love the bracelet more now 😎

    Nice video. One tip for anyone swapping Nato straps on Rolexes - If you prefer not to damage your watch or the nato straps it might be better to first remove the spring bars and then place the watch into the right spot on the Nato strap and then reinsert the spring bars. I found that better (not necessarily easier) than sliding Natos after placing the spring bars. Truth be told - switching a Rolex from Bracelet to Nato straps is always such a pain. Omegas are such a breeze to work with :).

      I’ve just uploaded a new video because the 124270 design isn’t made for Nato’s and it can damage the straps.
      So if you intend of changing strap, i’ll say watch that so you can avoid damaging your straps. I’ve just re bought two of my nato’s as i’ve realised how they damage when threading it through.

    Looks great, I'd go for a sand/khaki NATO, my favourite. To avoid damaging the strap lay it over the back of the watch & put the springbars on top rather than pulling it through. Field watch on a NATO, it's perfect.

    Looks fantastic on the gray and green NATO... what is the black NATO with the British flag on it? Love that Seamaster, btw, and looks even better on that canvas NATO than the bracelet. My favorite simple G10 style NATOS are from Gnomon, but sadly they aren't making any more due to the popularity of the seatbelt and woven styles that sell much better for them (according to them when I asked). I've tried some others and haven't been as satisfied.
