am i the only one who doesn't really see jason as a snot or a little shit but rather the most normal teenager of all the robins who was just in over his head? i mean i think when he disobeyed bruce, hat was his way of showing the closest thing he had to a father figure that he is capable of making decisions whether right or wrong
+ReaperGaming Oh yeah taking in a child because they don't have any parents to raise them and treat them respect (Except when Batman slapped Robin back in Golden Gate comics) Is being a pedo.
The fans in the 80's were stupid. Jason Todd was a great character because he was so different from Dick Grayson and he was so rebellious toward Batman. But weak minded people can't adjust to change and they just hated the new personality and offed him. I remember that event. I was like 8 or 9 years old and I couldn't believe they killed him just when his story was getting good. But then again, I guess if JT didn't die there would be no Tim Drake and he was my favorite Robin.
People hated Jason because he replaced Dick. Dick was Robin for over 40 years but then they made this new, darker kid Robin. Fans overreact over little things so something like this would be beyond awful to them. It's like if they replaced Wonder Woman now.
I think the fans in the 80's were stupid too, but had they not killed Jason then he never would have come back as the Red Hood, and Red Hood is my favorite character so it all works out in the end. I think what upset fans most was not only that he replaced Dick, but that originally he was pretty much just an exact clone of Dick only with blonde hair. Jason was a circus performer whose parents got killed, and Bruce took him in. I mean they could have at least tried to make him a little bit different. Unfortunately by the time they did change him it was already too late. Fans had already made up their minds. But like I said, it all worked out in the end.
Jason has to be my favorite Robin. Hands down. But every time I think of his origin I want to cry inside. I do like how he's growing as a character and he's becoming more human, as a side note I would totally love to see this guy find his first true love, I feel like he deserves it. :)
The new Jason is just awesome; He is not just a "Crazy ex-robin" anymore; He is way more than a former Robin now, he is himself, he is a character on his own... and all the All-caste thing it's just awesome.
No. In the New 52 he is now an emo softy that has a designated love interest that occasionally tags along in his adventures (and if completely cool with his antics). He no longer manipulates and kills criminals (as much as he used to anyways) and is no longer threatening. He no longer blurs the lines of good and bad. He's just a good guy that has a bad passed. It's meh. It's boring. I preferred Jason in Pre-N52 because he WAS crazy, while at the same time in control (for the very most part) of his actions. A true wild card. While at the same time facing the trauma of his death, betrayal by his parents, and other deep rooted issues he went through as a kid (such as Batman's constant disapproval and being compared to Nightwing all the time). This new Jason has issues but that's all he has now and not even all the same issues. The old Jason was sympathetic but not written to force your sympathy. New 52 Jason is just either sad or boring.
Edward Gil Which issues do you find exciting? I'm new to the comic scene and I've really enjoyed his character in Red Hood and the Outlaws in New 52. Pre-New 52 Jason sounds badass and it is a breath of fresh air finding heroes(?) who kill. Do you have any recommendations? Or general comic recommendations?
fritosnlegos I would start with his debut as Red Hood, "Batman: Under the Hood" or the animated film version. I'd suggest reading the comicbook version first, mainly because most people find the movie better. I like them the same, I just think the comic version is more expansive. After that, you should read "Red Hood: The Lost Days". It basically is a story about Jason right after he came back to life and what he does leading up to actually becoming the Red Hood. You see things through his perspective. You can actually sympathize with him a lot better whether he's saving the day or plotting his vengeance. There is one part that people find controversial but I let it pass. Now then there's Battle for the Cowl. Most people HATE Jason in that story. Really I just hate the part where he shoots Damian because it was just unnecessary. I like it because it shows the Jason going off the rails because of Batman's death. If you actually try to see things his way, you can understand. Also there are quite a few issues with him being just awesome back when he was Robin. A great cameo in "The Outsiders issue 44". I do not exactly recommend reading "Countdown" because it was just a useless story arc. Also "Blood Brothers" is a love it or hate it. I hate it because it stopped making sense. Oh and when he appeared in Teen Titans, he definitely kicked Tim Drake's ass. But let me just sum this up. Pre-N52 Jason was indeed a badass but... well he was obviously flawed and symbolized the trauma the hero/crime world can bring, along with being the embodiment of what Batman could become should he break his moral code. He really blurred the line between hero and villain. On one hand he was trying to reduce crime. On the other hand he was clearly sadistic and had questionable sanity, all the while being cold, calculating and organized (until Battle for the Cowl but that was justified), not to mention he constant clashes with the rest of the Bat-family.
Wow. Thank you for the quick reply. I'll definitely start at "The Lost Days" and go from there. I love heroes who are consumed by their flaws and seek their goals to the point of madness. The sadistic, the better. I guess you could say I read for the villainy, but I want a hero. I'm curious to think how "heroic" he actually is in people's eyes (in-universe and the creators). Are people just giving him a pass or not actively pursuing him because he's Batman's "bad seed?" I understand his intentions plant him in the gray morality on the continuum, but the channels he chooses to attain peace look mighty black. Not to mention, there are definitely heads dropping wherever he sets foot. It seems to be some favoritism going on here or the villains/heroes are just as bad, if not, worse. I prefer the latter, but I digress.
fritosnlegos Heroic... hm... well the other heroes consider him dangerous and psychotic. Only a few (such as Nightwing, Toia, and sometimes Batman and Tim Drake) see him as a young man in pain that just wants some approval and affection. As for the fans... it's divided. Some see his antics as downright villainous. Some see his results as heroic. Me... I find them... interesting. On one hand, he is reducing crime and really does want to protect innocents. On the other hand, he can be pretty antagonistic towards his "family" and will attack them should they cross his path. I won't give too much away, but let's just say that one half of Jason's mind is doing what he does out of the goodness of his heart, the other half is doing this for his own personal issues. Now, I can understand why some people prefer his New 52 version. For one, he has his own series, so it's easier to connect with him since he is seen more often. PreN52 Jason did not get that kind of treatment for some reason. Mainly because his psych was just so complex, most writers weren't skilled enough to handle it. Which again brings us to N52 Jason. He's simpler. Also toned way down. To the point where you wonder why he and the Bat-family are still at odds. There was a point where he did rekindle with Batman, but that didn't last because other shit was going on in Bruce's life that made him mistreat Jason. Ugh. See that's another problem. The New52 is trying WAY too hard to make us sympathize with Jason. They make him act nice, he hardly ever kills now, he has a very bland (but hot, I will admit) love interest that he encountered in the most random way possible and for some reason just-- AGH! He's just so BORING now. Jason Todd as a "nice guy"? Why, DC? WHY?! Meanwhile Tim Drake (someone I never really cared to much for) is now a little douchebag?! And Nightwing is... what is Nightwing now?! Babs is no longer Oracle? Moving backwards, much?! FFFFFF--! Need to chill out. Going on nerd rage. We're talking about Jason. Ahem, Jason is basically everything his shallow fangirls perceived him to be. Just a misunderstood hero who just needs a hug. Blah. PreN52 Jason is a misunderstood guy who also misunderstood what it meant to be a hero. Yes, he did lose his way. Yes, Batman was a shitty parent towards him. But it was... a two-way streak. Jason was indeed a stubborn, impulsive kid with too much rage within him.But that was fun. It was fun seeing him and Batman's personalities clash back when he was Robin. It was fun seeing him as Red Hood wreck shit up for both the good and bad guys. It was fun seeing him taunt his enemies, crack jokes. All the while you felt uneasy with him present because you're not sure when he's gonna do something dark. You could feel his anger and pain, but could also see that something was indeed wrong with him. I'd say Lost Days, Under the Hood, and Battle for the Cowl portrayed that best. Some other stories he's in did a good job, too. I just wish that DC gave him his own series based on how he was in those stories, at least how he was in Lost Days and Under the Hood, since he was a little too violent in Battle for the Cowl. If they just gave it a shot, I know it would've been brilliant. Yeah sure, Outlaws isn't terrible it's just not capturing me as well, probably because he's now just like any other hero now. I'd say the worst part of the New52 is the fact that this is NOT the worst part. In fact, "Red Hood and the Outlaws" is one of their better works. Just compare the previous DCU characters and to this New52 bullshit and you'll see.
I feel like Jason was the worst robin, but the best Jason... if that makes any sense. He wasnt really suited as robin, so whether or not he was wanted dead, he needed this pheonix thing where he comes back as the red hood. (which suits him soooo much better). mistake or no, having red hood is not a mistake for sure.
Rose Pink Diamond Jason is my favorite robin by far but really it makes sense that dc killed him off I mean think about it it was 50 50 and if Jason stayed alive Batman comics would have been fucked
That was pretty cool video for Jason Todd. Have you seen the DVD movie Batman:Under the Red Hood?? I would like to hear your take on that movie. I absolutely loved it. The animation was spot on, no CGI garbage that has become the norm of late (blech!!) and the voice acting perfect. Better it didn't pull any punches when it came to subject matter. It was gory but it wasn't kidded down either.
If I ever cover a movie, it'll be a movie that could equal the comic book experience, but with most comic book movies, I watch em, I like em and then I move on and never think about it again.
DC Has got some movies planned, but its always been that DC Has the animation market held tight and Marvel does live action really well. I honestly feel like DC heroes dont translate to the live action medium that well because there are less limitations to the DC universe in comparison to the Marvel universe.
Still, movie is a great market if they want to make a lot of $$$. People go out to the theater to watch a movie instead of a animation. Movies also have better and wider advertising.
When things are done for money instead of having an actual passion for the project, they always turn out bad. When the movies are bad people lose respect for the source material, in this case the comics. At the end of the day, like I always say, we're dealing with art here, and when you bring money and business into art, things go horribly horribly wrong.
You really don't get the new 52 Starfire. Otherwise you wouldn't be calling her Slutfire. Her being sexually open is a way to show she dose not owned by anyone. And she's actually the strongest member of the team both mentally and physically.
What do you mean Jason was Robin for one year? He first appeared in Batman #357 in March 1983 (although he didn't become Robin until two months later). He was Robin for five years before he died. Pre-Crisis, he was a carbon copy of Dick Grayson in all but name only. Fan reaction to him Pre-Crisis was mixed. Some people liked him, some didn't. Changes to his personality were made after Crisis on Infinite Earth's completely rebooted the DC universe. His new origin in Batman #408-411 were flashback issues to explain the changes in his personality and origin that took place one year prior (Crisis on Infinite Earths ended in March of 86 and Jason suddenly had a personality change). They came about right after the critically acclaimed Batman Year One wrapped up. However, it was not Jason's first appearance in Post-Crisis continuity. Jason appeared as Robin in Batman #394 the very next month after Crisis on Infinite Earths ended. Basically, Stephanie Brown was the Robin with the shortest tenure (she was only Robin for a few months) while Jason comes in fourth place after Damian Wayne.
Jason Todd was an Acrobatic along with his mother and Father in Pre-Crisis earth one. He also had Blonde hair. He was basically a second Dick Grayson in his personality. His parents were killed by Killer Croc though. He Became Robin after that. Dyed his hair black and stuff.
I don't see why now-a-days just about everyone is now in love with Red Hood, everyone hated him back then, and his personality hasn't changed since. Instead of making him an Anti-Hero they should've made him a villain for Batman, then he could've been interesting, but the potential has been squandered
One his character did change and I think he is the best and smartest robin because he uses his prep realy good and the best hand to hand combatatant oh ye just because you dont like it doesnt mean no one will like him
Actually he character didn't change. His personality is the same as when he was robin. He wasn't like the rest of the robins. He just has a different uniform. He actually could beat the rest of the robins
To be fair to Jason, I think I'd kill a rapist too, especially if the victim ended up killing herself because of it. Rape is completely unjustifiable. Even murder and torture has situations where it can be justified, but not rape. Not ever.
Jason may have been not much of a good Robin but his at his best as Red Hood(in the new 52), also many speculate JAson is Red X from the teen titans tv series
I always loved Jason Todd- like- a LOT. Very poetic, very impressive- he cannot beat Batman, but man- his revival is a REAL reminder to Bruce of ... his war.
True but I didn't take that in to consideration my point was this was where Bruce was made aware of the possibility that Jason may or may not be alive which is a pretty major move
So, for some clarification. Sometimes I will intentionally miss out a fact or two just because if someone goes off to read the comics themselves, they will then find something I didn't talk about and experience it as a totally fresh first hand experience.
Wow, your videos really are "super effective", as they are very informative, I LOVE Red Hood and the Outlaws, it's now one of my personal favorite, and i only knew about it because of your videos. You rock, also really like the way Jason Todd is now, he's now in my top ten fav super heroes. Keep up the great work
Are you kidding me Jason beat the shit out of Tim in titans tower and he said Tim was better meaning that he was he better Robin. He did not say Tim was better than him but in a way Tim is better. He is smarter than Jason and a better person. Jason is just a better fighter.
If you listened to the video I actually say that Jason beat Tim. My whole thing is, and I didn't really word this well, that this whole filler really...didnt need to happen. There would've been a million different ways to explore a robin v robin thing. Also, it shouldn't have been in the Teen Titans, it was really random and just made no sense to have it there as it did not go with what the Teen Titans was doing at the time.
There were million other ways they could have creatively removed Jason from being Robin, they didn't have to kill him. I think they did that call 'the left number for him to survive, the right to dead' or what ever way it was, because it was the easiest thing to do. I love that Jason's finally a person now, he's somewhat okay now, Though he's a badass and he will always be, but I (didn't or don't hate or dislike him before the New 52) was frustrated with him, that he kept acting crazy. It made me want to shake him and say "Get your shit together! Stop acting like this!"
Don't know if either one of you found out yet or not but, originally he was a stawberry blonde to then dye his hair. However after the whole crisis event Jason then got his homeless kid origin story and natural black hair.
Jason may not be the best robin but he will always be the robin that died in the field. And come on Red hood (new 52) is just the coolest. And the most unique member of the bat family
+Wingding yeah but he is remembered for his death Damian is remembered for being the son of batman and Stephanie is remembered for being the first cannon female robin
#TeamRedHood #TeamJasonTodd Jason Todd is definitely one of my favorite Robins. He's just so badass. Also your videos are so awesome. Keep up the good work bro. Plus, I absolutely love British People both male and female. But mainly male.
Have you played or seen the story in arkham knight? I wanna know your opinion of jason todd in that. It seems very similar to his past history. Not going to spoil it but would be interested in what you think Nk
johnathan almodovar no you just spoiled it by saying that, I could just be talking about the joker kidnapping him, or the redhood missions where as you make reference to the title spoiling it for everyone involved
That is what the theory is... But we don't exactly know that until we see the Suicide Squad movie next year. And this is just my opinion but I highly doubt that Jason Todd is the new Joker to be honest.
Firstly from now on I will only refer to Starfire as Slutfire, XD. Secondly, this was great, learned a thing or two about Jason that I didn't know before. I can't wait for Tim, he's my favourite Robin.
Kay, I just assumed he had a feminine accent. I recently started watch this guy. Got into a heated flame battle with some douche on his Dick Grayson video. . . .
Am I the only who's not happy because "Tim kinda lost but Jason said he's technically better" ? Seriously, Jason beat the hell outta Tim then -_- And besides, Tim's more of a smart type than the fighting type, so.
First appearance as Jason Todd: Batman #357 (March 1983) as Robin: Batman #368 (December 1983) origin revamp: Batman #408 (June 1987) as Red Hood: Batman #635 (February 2005)
I really liked this video, you covered up Jasons history pretty well, and there were a few things i didnt know, thanks a lot dude, Jason is my favorite Robin and one of my Top 5 dc characters and im always looking for new things about him. I havent found the numbers about his time with Scarlet but i will keep looking. Oh and this will sound ridiculous but would you do a video covering the Ultimate Marvel Ultimatum event?, id just like to know your opinion on that...
If you haven't watched Batman: Under the Red Hood, you should. When Faust mentioned the incident about Jason being beaten by Joker, that part is in the movie.
I hate the batman people that voted for Jason Todd to die he is my favorite robin I mean I like Damien Wayne but Jason is my favorite by far he is awesome
Hey man, i really love your videos and your shirt. hahas. Its very informative.(I love comics) Though, i thought this video was alittle glaring and hurts the eye.
I wasn't sure I heard you right. I cracked up at Slutfire, though. My first experience with Jason was in the animated film and then with the New 52 comic (I'm new to comics, I admit) and he's really my favorite Robin, at the moment.
I'm new to comics although I've always loved batman. I want to go deeper to it so may I know any website possibly hosting the comics from the start? If it's anyway possible? or probably the animated series.
Maybe I missed it, but what issue did we get introduced to the hoodlum version of Jason? Not the Dick Grayson facsimile, but the new version? My friend wants to read some Robin comics and I want to show him this stuff before I show him Death in the Family,
am i the only one who doesn't really see jason as a snot or a little shit but rather the most normal teenager of all the robins who was just in over his head? i mean i think when he disobeyed bruce, hat was his way of showing the closest thing he had to a father figure that he is capable of making decisions whether right or wrong
The original Robin would never done what Jason did which is why the original is Robin is better than Jason here!
INDEED
Back in the day Jason didn’t have a good reputation and he was killed off but the way they do it was really disturbing
He was a lil shit bro. Normal teens can b lil shits
says Jason "Doesn't listen" , Look at Damian Wayne! That little fuck almost killed Dick Grayson
He does actually kill him in injustice lol
Exactly!
+Jermar Makins not intentionally though
True
+Mark Galan but still. Damian is the biggest snort in the entire universe
Jason Todd is my favourite robin though and I liked him better when he was red hood
Dominique Senecharles Totally agree, and him as red hood is my favorite DC character, period.
So true.
Caspianm2 hes my favorite DC character 2 and my favorite robin
Roy Harper I appreciate it ROY.. Now hop on gta and let's do this doomsday heist
Yes I used to have the Red Hood hoodie of mine and Jason Todd alway as my favorite DC Character too
Why is their so many fucking robins batman keep picking up random kids and saying u wanna kick ass just like me
Batman The Pedo!
You wanna kick ass like me?
+Captain Sunshine Stephanie Brown?
+ReaperGaming Oh yeah taking in a child because they don't have any parents to raise them and treat them respect (Except when Batman slapped Robin back in Golden Gate comics) Is being a pedo.
Jason is my favorite Robin by far. The fact that he is a very unique character with a very unique backstory.
ikr
oh thanks for calling me sexy, yeah I am cool
oh and hey rae rae I know right I am sexy oh and rae you can join the outlaws if you wanna
I agree 100%
thanks yo

am i the only one that thinks he said slutfire instead of Starfire?
yea he did ^^ you should read the outlaws comic then you will understand
he did
He did because starfire in the new 52 is pretty much just that a slut
Yeah. He sees her as a slut in that comic because she sleeps with both men in the comic. Also, her new 52 look is so sexual and 'slutty'
Harleen Quinzel Nightwing has a reputation and no one cares about him. What's the big deal if Kory has had sex with a few men?
The new Jason is just awesome; He is not just a "Crazy ex-robin" anymore; He is way more than a former Robin now, he is himself, he is a character on his own... and all the All-caste thing it's just awesome.

because I DO JASON TODD JASON TODD JASON TODD ROCKS!!!!!!!
Idk about best robins
NotSoGodleyNico he's my favourite robin
I prefer the New 52 Jason as well. I am also in love with Red Hood and the Outlaws Rebirth. An extremely good comic series I highly recommend it.
*doesnt want Jason to shoot.*
Hmm maybe I should teach him how to use a gun. . .
-__- Jason Todd first app was in Batman #357
That was Jason Todd of earth one, a totally different character.
+ItsSuperEffective your gay
+Jordan Cervera ok, and your point is. Was that supposed to be an insult
+Jordan Cervera *you're*
+Jrock-Malik no your was correct
Red Hood is my number one favorite DC character. WE NEED DC REBIRTH RED HOOD NOW!! Honestly, Jason is underrated
You're in luck red hood and the outlaws got a rebirth title
Press X to best robin.

+Rkehm Nyht Arkham Knight*

I feel like Jason was the worst robin, but the best Jason... if that makes any sense. He wasnt really suited as robin, so whether or not he was wanted dead, he needed this pheonix thing where he comes back as the red hood. (which suits him soooo much better). mistake or no, having red hood is not a mistake for sure.
Rose Pink Diamond Jason is my favorite robin by far but really it makes sense that dc killed him off I mean think about it
it was 50 50 and if Jason stayed alive Batman comics would have been fucked
SLUTFIRE OMFG
Jason Todd is best boy honestly
Jason Todd kind of reminds me of anakin Skywalker. like his whole story and he can't control his rage.
Wait u r right
That was pretty cool video for Jason Todd.
Have you notice DC mostly doing cartoons while Marvel is into movies? I don't know why I'd love to see DC heroes in a movie.
I thought his hair was red...
You mean he originally was a blonde acrobat then that changed and he became the Jason we all know and love today
@@ratkinzluver33 I think of his hair as strawberry blonde
Yeah....the guy left out much of his overall history
He only went over his canon history.
Jason is fine as robin but legendary as red hood
He maybe was an asshole but the arkham knight definetly changed my view...
16:15
He said slutfire (intentionally)
I think he is quite underpowered . I mean he learned from batman and the all-castle so i think he should be stronger than the other robins
Jason's is such a sad death
Am I the only one that heard him say slutfire?
No I heard it too lol😆
I heard it too
Jason and Damian are my faves! I see some similarities between them.
I don't see why now-a-days just about everyone is now in love with Red Hood, everyone hated him back then, and his personality hasn't changed since. Instead of making him an Anti-Hero they should've made him a villain for Batman, then he could've been interesting, but the potential has been squandered
America's a bigger shithole now, full of more shits.
One his character did change and I think he is the best and smartest robin because he uses his prep realy good and the best hand to hand combatatant oh ye just because you dont like it doesnt mean no one will like him
***** Woah easy there, Tiger I smell a bias. He was only giving an opinion.
Actually he character didn't change. His personality is the same as when he was robin. He wasn't like the rest of the robins. He just has a different uniform. He actually could beat the rest of the robins
5BarsEnt Go read Convergence Batman and Robin #1,#2 and Batman Incorporated #6 from pre flashpoint
stupid Jason was my fav
To be fair to Jason, I think I'd kill a rapist too, especially if the victim ended up killing herself because of it. Rape is completely unjustifiable. Even murder and torture has situations where it can be justified, but not rape. Not ever.
Breithe Nua bruh nah. Cold blooded Murder and torture aren’t justifiable. They are worse than rape
Jason is my favorite robin too bad they killed him off+his robin suit is my favorite(under the red hood)
Actually Jason Todd debuted in batman #357 the same debut as killer croc
If they ever make a robin movie Or arkham knight I want to play Jason Todd so badly.
Wish granted.
Erithebad you're black tho nigga
Jason Todd debuted in Batman #357 (March 1983) and made his first full appearance in Detective Comics #525 (April 1983)
Not 1987
Jason may have been not much of a good Robin but his at his best as Red Hood(in the new 52), also many speculate JAson is Red X from the teen titans tv series
Haseo55 Gunpoint
I always loved Jason Todd- like- a LOT. Very poetic, very impressive- he cannot beat Batman, but man- his revival is a REAL reminder to Bruce of ... his war.
the host looks like hes trying hard not to move too much because his hair might fall off . hahahahahahaha
Harsley Kent 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Jason Todd is by far my favorite Robin along with Damian Wayne you know I just love the violence lol jk... but still he has a unique backstory so yea.
Nope the original Robin here is way better here!
ITS SUPER EFFECTIVE!!!!!!!!! LOBE THESE DAMN VIDEOS YEARS LATER BACK AGAIN HAHAHA.
You do SUCH a fine job!!! So let me ask... why the wig?
With the exception of missing out Jason involvement of the 'Hush' story arc you've nailed it. Nice video you've earned a subscriber
True but "Hush" isn't exactly a batman storyline that most people take seriously. Though the concept was good.
True but I didn't take that in to consideration my point was this was where Bruce was made aware of the possibility that Jason may or may not be alive which is a pretty major move
Good point, I guess everybody makes a mistake now and then. Though that does seem like a detail too big to miss.
So, for some clarification. Sometimes I will intentionally miss out a fact or two just because if someone goes off to read the comics themselves, they will then find something I didn't talk about and experience it as a totally fresh first hand experience.
Most badass robin.
I agree. I didnt like jason at first but in this new one, hes pretty damn awesome.
ItsSuperEffective Slutfire? Really?
Cinthia Cruzado shes had sex with 5 guys just because she wanted to have sex
Nuke Narwhal
Okay then.... Make sense o_o
Cinthia Cruzado :3 but she's kinda stopped that and is kinda with Jason :p
Nuke Narwhal I thought she ended up with Roy Harper.
Cinthia Cruzado its like back and forth at the moment but its more jason last time i checked
Omg I lovvvved your channel in third grade I rewatched this vid and got so much nostalgia, thank you for making these videos
this video could do with an update now
Wow, your videos really are "super effective", as they are very informative, I LOVE Red Hood and the Outlaws, it's now one of my personal favorite, and i only knew about it because of your videos.
Stop acting like this!"
is his hair real god damn!
Wtf with the ear rape in the middle and the near end. Seriously, "ITS SUPER EFFECTIIIVEE!" like, can you not?
Slutfire LMFAOOOO
Correction Batman 357 is first appearance
Wait... He let his natural red hair grow out?
But didn't he have black hair since his very first appearance as a homeless kid???
he just dyed it black.
*****
He dyed it black as a homeless kid?
yeah. i have no idea how though. most likely he stole hair dye and found a way to use it.
Don't know if either one of you found out yet or not but, originally he was a stawberry blonde to then dye his hair. However after the whole crisis event Jason then got his homeless kid origin story and natural black hair.
So if robin controld his anger he could have been a perfect robin
Slutfire?
"How do I Put This Delicately?" *Then is really blunt* Love you man
did you say Slutfire instead of starfire?
Yep. Coz of new 52 Starfire.
+Jake Henry dick grayson all day best robin
Everyone pause at 5:01
5:02
I don't get it
Mighty Damo huh?
Mighty Damo what do you mean?
But Dat Face Doe...Be Like " It Feels Like It Was Sent From Heaven"
Jason Todd first appeared in BATMAN #357 1983 becoming Robin in #366!
So the arkham knight is robin?
the stair gamers He's the second robin, Jason Todd.
Yes
Caspianm2 yes
#TeamRedHood #TeamJasonTodd Jason Todd is definitely one of my favorite Robins. He's just so badass. Also your videos are so awesome. Keep up the good work bro. Plus, I absolutely love British People both male and female. But mainly male.
Have you played or seen the story in arkham knight? I wanna know your opinion of jason todd in that. It seems very similar to his past history. Not going to spoil it but would be interested in what you think
Nk
Just by name dropping you already spoiled it
johnathan almodovar no you just spoiled it by saying that, I could just be talking about the joker kidnapping him, or the redhood missions where as you make reference to the title spoiling it for everyone involved
Jason Todd is the new Joker in The Suicide Squad
That is what the theory is... But we don't exactly know that until we see the Suicide Squad movie next year. And this is just my opinion but I highly doubt that Jason Todd is the new Joker to be honest.
Well, the first red hood ever was the very first Joker so, you never know. I just think it makes good sense. But like you say we will see.
I will kill someone if that theory turns out to be true.
+rane932 don't worry it isnt
+Jason Todd definitely not true
Firstly from now on I will only refer to Starfire as Slutfire, XD. Secondly, this was great, learned a thing or two about Jason that I didn't know before. I can't wait for Tim, he's my favourite Robin.
Man, you are gay?
You meant to say "Are you gay", right? If you were then yeah actually, he is.
***** is he really gay?? Or does he just have an effeminate British accent?
Otto Fabian It's been said he's actually gay.
Kay, I just assumed he had a feminine accent. I recently started watch this guy. Got into a heated flame battle with some douche on his Dick Grayson video. . . .
Yes he is gay, Problem? As long he does good vids and actually explains comics Lore ( WHich i dont know much) I am ok with him.
Love your history videos! Please, keep em coming! Also, do you know the exact date for when Jason's first appearance was?
Awesome review as always dude.Love the Robin shirt:)
Hey champ, long time no see. How can i watch more of your videos? By the way i realy diged you ideo about the Preacher hq.
Am I the only who's not happy because "Tim kinda lost but Jason said he's technically better" ?
Seriously, Jason beat the hell outta Tim then -_-
And besides, Tim's more of a smart type than the fighting type, so.
How about a history of Batman Beyond and Terry McGuiness?
First appearance
as Jason Todd:
Batman #357 (March 1983)
as Robin:
Batman #368 (December 1983)
origin revamp:
Batman #408 (June 1987)
as Red Hood:
Batman #635 (February 2005)
Tim Drake is definitely my favorite. Thanks for the video, dude!
You're wrong from the start. Jason Todd first appeared in Batman #357 in 1983.
Jason was put in lazaurus pit and now is red hood
very informative,i learned alot, thank you sir!
Im so happy about the new Red Hood DLC for Batman Arkham Knight that was just announced.
I hate the batman people that voted for Jason Todd to die he is my favorite robin I mean I like Damien Wayne but Jason is my favorite by far he is awesome
Nope I feel the original Robin is way better than Jason here!
Jason Todd is my favourite character!
Actually it was a hacker who hated him then took him down
THANK YOU FOR BEING THE ONLY PERSON IVE EVER SEEN ON ONE OF THESE VIDEOS THAT KNOWS THIS.
Sorry for the caps, I just got excited
I believe the best side of Batman was in the injustice comic showing the death of Dick Grayson. How his face revealed was a very damaged batman.
Definitely enjoy the Robin/Batman stories the most. I wanna read Grayson/Damien as Batman&robin.
Hey man, i really love your videos and your shirt. hahas. Its very informative.(I love comics)
Though, i thought this video was alittle glaring and hurts the eye.
I really *loved* the* video*, thank you ! :D
Very informative thank you.liked & subed
I am curious as to what your opinion is on Jason Todd's growing addiction to venom
I wasn't sure I heard you right. I cracked up at Slutfire, though. My first experience with Jason was in the animated film and then with the New 52 comic (I'm new to comics, I admit) and he's really my favorite Robin, at the moment.
Jason is the jar jar binks of robins. But he's awesome as red hood
I'm new to comics although I've always loved batman. I want to go deeper to it so may I know any website possibly hosting the comics from the start? If it's anyway possible? or probably the animated series.
Comixology is a great website to buy and read comics online. You can't really read them online for free.
Cool! Thanks for the info. Yeah, the authors and artist did a lot of job so for now, guess I have to save and buy it soon. :) Thanks!
"And as I said before,he is in Red-Hood and The Outlaws along with SLUTfire and________"
I love your videos and your shirt 😭😭
Maybe I missed it, but what issue did we get introduced to the hoodlum version of Jason? Not the Dick Grayson facsimile, but the new version? My friend wants to read some Robin comics and I want to show him this stuff before I show him Death in the Family,
what issue was jason vs tim?
and how did he get in/out of earth 51?
thanks for the awsome video
The "it's super thing" I think I'm going to have nightmares
