I read the title and instantly though you can have multiple commanders, but seeing more defenders than usual for a strategy is just as good
I hope you they update it so you have 2 other legions/battalions with commanders. And you can select the legion, then select a flag, base, or just a spot on the map. And they go there. So maybe the legions have their own gold amount, idk how that would work, but they could figure it out. But then maybe you could press a button and no matter where they are, all legions will go to you and do your basic commands. Each legion would also have 25 soldiers. So 75 altogether. It would make for epic battles. Maybe you could also select who leads your armies. I know this is a huge reply to your comment, but do you like the idea?

Baron! , I have a Suggestion (Commanders - [They will Command a New Group and you can go to the map and direct them to your area of interest and there would be 4 limited Generals and.... 1 2 3 4 (Can be changed to Defensive or Aggressive)
You need to play Dead Ahead zombie warfare for mobile I think you love the game it's kind of like stick war where two enemies class in the middle but there's also quite a lot of difference I think you will really like the game
you should try playing Frostborn it is a really cool coop-survival co-op game about Vikings that you should check out

Spartans : Hoplites and defenders
Bots faction: Persians
Hero: Spartans: Leonidas. Persians: Xerxes or Darius
Tactic: move the hoplites in a shieldwall to the gate that they attack also have at least 10 defenders and 15 hoplites
Edit: changing some and also petition to add Spartans when you play as leondias and also make them be able switch between swords and spear and add alliances in shieldwall as well

The reason why there are no archers is probably because majority don't have archers in the age of antiquity. The other, to make the game fair. Or maybe it's just for fun.
