Curious - did you use the traditional longboard pop up (ball of the foot on the back foot and push the knee of leading leg through or did you use your standard pop up used on your short board?
Will have to show this to my grandad as he thinks i should paddleboard instead of surf because we only get small waves where i live😂 by the way dude your vids are epic i have learnt so much from them 🏄🤘

Video made me laugh. Why? It simply made me happy, I love watching and learning surfing from you all summer. Just returning to work today and having a beer in the drivway catching this video made my day friend.
It is just something extra to think about - I don’t particularly love it but have been convinced to make it a part of my routine every now and then. As soon as it detracts from my surfing experience I’ll probably stop 🤓

I’ve done both. Both work pretty well but I use the standard pop up to help me turn my board to go down the line
