These are small storage rooms, there was even a picture on the forum that showed it being used as a storage room.
Idk if people are forgetting or simply oblivious to the fact that were are slowly getting to the point where theres nothing else gaijin can add besides protypes or variants of a pre existing vehicles. For Japan, the type 10/90 are simply the peak of what Japan has to offer. If Korea becomes a subtree within Japan, they would get pattons and shit and a XM-1 (K-1A1) and the K-2 (and T-80U's but we literally have 6 T-80s in the game). The K-2 would give Japan APS and ERA and a barrel fired, top attacking missle
yeah k-2 are the only interesting top tier tank left to add unfortunately, besides T-14 Armata and new leopards and Abrams prototypes
You know, we don't have to ask for modern vehicles only, people are asking for them because that's what gaijin mostly advertised, Japan is not the only nation, gaijin just sucks
The side boxes on the Type-10 are storage compartments, however in its full battle configuration (48ton version) the side of the hull and turret get composite side armor called "passive side armor B" while the roof mounts gets "passive armor A" which I assume is ERA to counter top-attack missiles to an extent, however since the Type-10 is so new, theres not much public information regarding the armor and its effectiveness besides "yeah its got additional armor that can be added on"
One good vehicle for Japan would be the CCVP with the 40mm CTA cannon, although it might be OP
I remember the Japanese rejected the era and even the aps on top of type 10 , because they concern about destroying civilians' housing lol

I think we can call that bullshit.
If PLAGF is close enough to deploy their infantry in Japan mainland, that implies both JSMDF and JSADF are effectively destroyed and a strong blockade stopping USN from doing anything. Civilian housing is probably least of Tokyo concern at that point.
I think if they some how fit a sub tree in Japan like South Korea. I know there is a lot of political issues there but they did it with Taiwan and China.
Maybe rename it to Blue Dragons or something? Then they could maybe also add some of the southeast asian vehicles into the tech tree as well
Really who cares about the past it's a game it doesn't matter and it will actually give recognition to south Korea engineering
South Korea and Japan are allies now, so it isn't out of the question and should be added to help

wargame already did it with blue dragons, koreans would not care that much and would likely just be happy to see the k1/k2 and such

No, but we really need South Korea on the Japan tree, it would improve Japans line up so much more and its not like Gaijin cant do it cuz of "country relations" or whatever, they now have an military and diplomatic alliance and have massively improved relationships, and not like this was a problem in the first place, since Gaijin didn't even care when they added China and Taiwan in the same tree because we all know they are very friendly with each other right? :)))
Japan really does need a SK subtree, tho i feel that we prolly wont get it till next year if Gaijin commits to it

I don't think they will add it to Japan, it wouldn't work.
I'll put it like this, a sub-tree can't be added if it didn't have a WW2 industry, and considering South Korea didn't exist during WW2, it can't be put as a sub-tree. Instead, it will most likely be added as a small tech tree, similar to Israel in where it starts post-WW2.
South Africa, Republic of China, Hungary, and Finland are all the sub-tech trees in the game, and all had a good amount of vehicles in WW2 and after. Personally, I think its safe to say a nation that didn't have any WW2 military industry, can't be added as a sub-tree.
Instead, it would be added like Israel in where it starts in the early cold war rank. South Korea had a large military capability post WW2 during the Korean War, which gives Gaijin the chance to add a bunch of copy and paste Pershings, and any type of vehicle that South Korea at least had one of. If Gaijin is daring they could also add North Korea, but it would be odd to implement and barely anything is known about Modern North Korean vehicles.
In terms of modern vehicles, South Korea also has plenty to fill out a tree and would be a pretty good minor tree just like Israel.
2:45 If i recall it is mostly storage boxes that are RHA but I believe the Type 10 has armor modules you can choose that can reinforce it with actual composite but makes it heavier.
Fully armoured type10 would me weight 48tons ( in game now is 44tons

@@SatouShiori because it isnt used by the Japanese armed forces to my knowledge. theoretically you could cover an abrams with era if you wanted but they don't and haven't. the reason for the tkx existence is to be light so that its viable for use in japans terrain.
@@daholl8942 you are right., but even gaijin can give us the f16aj , why not the armour mod for the type 10 as those boxes originally are mainly aiming for adding modular composite armour in it.
Kinda my own imput on the 5mm of extra armor on the Type 10, I dont think it is composite, mainly because you can see the smoke launchers poking through it, and it looks pretty hallow from there, that and there are doors on the screens which would allow you to access the inside, which if it was filled with composite, those doors would be useless.
that being said, I do believe those do have to be removed for weight related reasons when transporting it, so it could be possible that it is a little bit thicker than whats presented in game. so basically I think its more like they have applique spaced armor that can also double as a storage unit.
Wouldn't the doors be there to access the armor to replace it or remove it for transport purposes? It also doesn't make sense to have sheet metal boxes on the side with doors with no purpose
@@jessegm1 if you need to repair composite armor, you'd likley need to remove the entire plate to access it, so no, doors wouldnt help. That and as I said before, and as you can see with this tank, those plates can be removed all together, so why would you need to spend extra time removing composite from its casing when you can just move the whole damn thing?
Also, (as I said), the fact that they need to remove it for weight related reason when transporting makes me think it may be used as spaced armor, which could imply that the plates are still hallow, but have more thickness then what's presented in game, kinda like the extra spaced armor seen on the Leopard 1.
Also (as I said before) having doors to access the empty space of spaced armor could allow the crew to double it as a storage unit, or perhaps fill it with something as a sort of makeshift composite armor

The steel box is no more than 5mm, that much is confirmed. The access door is there for storage reason, that part is also true.
But per the source document, armor should be able to reinforced, around the turret front and side, as well as lower hull front, as needed. Some of the module are era.
Now, weather they actually produce any of those those module is unknown to anyone. Because lots of project are cancelled for cost reason, such as domestic ct 40mm cannon, domestic universal hardkill aps, etc.
I think that adding South Korea too Japan is the best outcome for both nations, and Japan really needs the help...

I am still waiting for Japan to get something new that actually exists and isn’t a prototype. Like really Gaijin? A prototype of a prototype. Type 87(P), Type 16(P), TKX, TKX (P). At least hand over the Type 90 prototype over. Where is the STC. I know they’re low on options for tanks, but what about SAMs or planes? Chū-MPM, Type 81, or Type 11(doubtful). Maybe the Kawasaki T-4 and Fuji T-1. Just something new please snail overlord.

why? even in regular matches i only take one tank why waste more money on multiple tank repairs. when im min maxing silver lions and xp with playing more matches in the span of a hour. sometimes i might bring out my backups but other then that i dont see a reason to punish people. now punishing spawn campers i can agree on

Yeah I just got ripped off by Gaijin. I was on my third missile testing it and it hit the ship and proceeded to not explode. I did the test over 4 times just to make sure it was faulty. Just like the previous failures I assumed it had a fault in the missile and chose the warhead as the defective part. It turns out the MISSILE IS ACTUALLY FUNCTIONING?!?!?! WTF HOW DOES THAT WORK? I TESTED IT 4 TIMES OVER TO VERIFY. The worst part is that I have to grind out an entirely new missile just to be able to check if I have to do 3 MORE just to get a new functioning missile. This company is the worst.

@@PAUL-ESNEED I work 10 hours or more a day and somehow did the math that I could just barely do the event. So I attempted to do it and now all of that is thrown into the trash because of Gaijin's buggy/trashy coding. I'm hoping they will answer my bug report and resolve this. I can only imagine how many others are getting roadblocked by this. This is so garbage and to make matters worse this isn't the only bug I encountered. Another bug I encountered was the parts not showing they are finished making you constantly refresh the parts list page. This one can cause you to accidentally cancel a part timer. Gaijin literally doesn't care at all and it shows. They make so much money off of the game but keep making terrible decisions over and over again that negatively impact people just trying to enjoy the game.
@@avalonplayz3889 you're not the only one. I remember doing around 15 times over and got the missile hit but nothing happened and somehow it's not faulted.... I really do hope someone makes a better tank game to end this monopoly so Gaijin can stop being a bitch as they want to

Got my first LOLSAT kill today, I don't know how people struggle to finish that thing off, my instinct told me to hit ammo and it went kaboom. Also, Japan desperately needs a sub-tree, I don't think there's any new stuff they can get so a new tree would do wonders, it would give people an incentive to play it.

This thing is more uptier proof than the Type 90 but honestly at its BR I prefer the armor reliability of the Type 90s
I think type 90 is better overall, i survive way more cause of sheer size of type 90 then in type 10.

For all the comments about "KR sub tree with JP no possible because hate and nationalism" etc: based on my experience living in Japan for the past 6 years, the relationship between Koreans and Japanese are much much more warmer than your guys think. Koreans are probably the most well integrated and well perceived "minority" in Japan, and the perceptions of Japanese by Korean people in Korea us also much more positive than you think. So please stop using the same biased argument regarding JP/KR tech trees. Many of you obviously have no idea what's actually happening on the ground here.

It has less armor that we know of. They probably had more armor than what is shown in game. We all know gaijin only cares about armor accuracy when it comes to Russian documents that are (probably) incorrect.

As much as it would help, Korean players will be pissed due to historical relationship of Japan and Korea. Like, it's not like adding Ukranian T-84 to USSR tree. Unlike T-84 that's literally modified T-80UD, Korean K1 tanks are completely unrelated to the Japanese tank development.
@@harryshuman9637 Maybe they could rename the nation to "Southeast Asia" or "Western Pacific," then give SK/Jap/Phillipines/Singapore/etc. their own respective subtrees within that overarching nation? I know there's some tension but giving it a generalized location and their own specific subtrees (like SA in GRB, or FIN in SWE) may help ease that tension?

Ever since the foldering and moving of vehicles researching vehicles has become “harder”. Because some things have been unfolderd and or moved above what I have/have researched it now says that I have to research the vehicles that have been moved above before continuing to progress down the line.
I think this is really dumb personally I have been playing the game for quite some time and now because of and update i have to go through the early game process again? Thats seems unfair. I have put a post on the forums but I got no dev responses. In total i think it would be around 100,000 rp extra which could be a few more vehicles for me. It would be great if you could put in a word for me but if you cant its all good

It’s funny cause on the type 10 kinetic wise FT IS 900mm of resistance, FH IS 500mm, ST IS 300, and SH IS 250. Chemical wise resistance FT 1500mm, FH IS 900mm, ST is 500mm, and SH is 500mm.
No the LOSAT isnt worth it no way and really they give you guys shit to show off and mess it up and then it makes you guys look bad that are the ones that show it off. Plus this isn't the first time things like this have happened with Gaijin, it happens quite a bit. Honestly, do they even test these vehicles before they even let them out? it almost seems like thats a no.
South Korean dudes really want to try to restructure the entire tech tree setup just to justify not being a sub tree lmao.
