Good job to all the law enforcement people involved. It only took 47 days to investigate
and arrest a suspect. Because people watch so many crime stories on TV and in movies
where it takes 45 minutes to investigate, arrest and convict a murderer they get too worked up when real life steps in. You did a fantastic job in a short amount of time.
Congratulations. Taking your time to get the case in order to present to a jury is the prime focus now. Take a deep breath, relax a little and let people wait for the next step.

Agreed. I watch a LOT of True Crime shows and documentaries. This arrest wasn't as fast as most cases where an arrest is made. However, the fact that it was made at all after the first week is impressive. It should be recognized as impressive. When a perpetrator has time to escape, it means his identity was not readily evident. Which indicates what evidence they had immediately available. It had to take DILIGENT detective work to track every piece of information as quickly as possible to catch up to where this man had taken off to.
This arrest is telling of the quality detectives on the case.

Guilt does not come from the arrest, but only after trial before a jury who's job it will be to determine guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. LE knows it must now put credible evidence together to convince the jury that this is the guy who did it. That is why the chief and prosecutor are still playing by the rules of criminal procedure to make sure a conviction sticks.

Considering the time frame this dude was found rather quickly. Hopefully the families will get some closure.

That killer of those kids was a graduate of "criminal justice ".. what in the world was his motive for his crime? That's crazy! Was he doing this to outsmart the police? Did he think this was a game of cat and mouse? He's a monster 👹

What a breakthrough. This is not going to be an easier part of the investigation for LE. It may well be even harder than most of what has transpired. Sending thoughts of love to all those affected by this case.

Congratulations Moscow Chief and Police Department and FBI and all who assisted in solving this complicated case!!! Cannot thank you all enough for your hard and diligent work and sheer determination to bring this killer to justice despite an avalanche of constant criticism and unwarranted scrutiny by the people and the press! Well Fobe! I salute you all!

I thought it was so hateful how the community called the chief and the department incompetent. It made me so angry. They have to build a case and talking about it could jeopardize EVERYTHING. I hope this is a lesson for their community and the public in general to be gracious and kind to those who are working under extreme conditions on behalf of the wellbeing of its citizens. They cared deeply about solving the case but more importantly the public’s safety was always first on their minds..and still y’all berated them and hurled abuse at them. What a shame. God bless and keep the families. God bless and keep us all. 🙏🏻❤️

This chief shows a high level of grace and professionalism. This is the only way for a public figure to respond online criticism, especially when it's unfair. Anything else will only feed the fire further, as we see it happening with another public figure (couple)...
The public in general will never learn. Group thinking became a norm these days, many people are not able to form their own opinion, they just keep repeating others.
