Full Press Conference: Idaho Police announce arrest in quadruple murder of Idaho students

- A suspect in the gruesome stabbing deaths of four University of Idaho students is in custody, law enforcement sources told NBC News on Friday.
Jail records show Bryan Christopher Kohberger, 28, was being held for extradition to Idaho, where he faces a first-degree murder charge, according to the Associated Press.
Kohberger was arrested in Monroe County in northeastern Pennsylvania.
The Moscow Police Department will hold a news conference at 4 p.m. ET Friday to provide an update on the case.

There is NO HEALING from the DEATH of a child, whether an infant or a young adult. A family member taken from their parents and siblings in death is permanent. That hurt never heals.
This prosecutor is well spoken and has a calm, intelligent demeanor that sends a message that the case is in good and capable hands. Sending prayers for him and his staff as they strive to bring justice for those sweet kids and their loved ones. 💗

I’m so thankful for this arrest. I felt a little knot in my chest unwind.
This case is solid because MOSCOW PD WENT BY THE BOOK AND DID NOT MISS ONE PROCESS. THEY HAD TIME TO DO A THOROUGH INVESTIGATION AND WERE ROBOT AND METICULOUS ABOUT THEIR DISCOVER PROCESS BECAUSE OF THEIR DECISION TO ACT QUICKLY AND INVOLVE STATE POLICE AND FEDERAL AGENTS.
I am very proud of Moscow police department they are an example of police who CARE. SHOUT OUT TO THE HERO JAMES FRY AND HIS COLLEAGUES.
After watching this I can see why they waited until after Christmas to make this arrest. Santa is the prosecutor over there! 😳

Hold up so you mean to tell me this scrawny little dude managed to brake in and kill four people without waking up anyone. One of the victims was bigger than him, put up a fight , was sleeping next to his girlfriend and she didn’t make no noise? That makes no sense I don’t understand how he could have done this by himself and woke up no one. Something’s fishy here. There's an audio recording of the psycho killer speaking "hypothetically" about the murders and who did what and how the killer reacted.
I've been trying to find the dang thing but can't, pretty sure he's discussing it in one of his classes.

The 4 that were killed were only in 2 beds on 2 different floors. Attacking 2 people in one bed while sleeping would not alert someone on a different floor of the house who is in a deep sleep. It's totally possible to stab someone to death before the person asleep in bed with them even wakes up.
@@kitfisto1827 I agree with you but to do that 2 other times after the first 2 with a others home is highly unlikely to me. Maybe he bound them beforehand like some BTK. I just don’t think he acted alone… and it’s been reported there was a passenger in the white car.
@@kitfisto1827 No one sleeps through being stabbed to death. There would be 2 or 3 loud screams before they died. It does seems like help is likely with muffling the strings, binding them, etc.

Thankyou sir, and all people involved for bringing anyone involved in this horrible attack to justice....No one deserves to be brutally stabbed & killed In their sleep., And these were still children in a sense almost ready to enter life on their own as an adult..
RIP to the 4 young people who senselessly lost their lives. Kudos to the LEO and everyone involved in the lead up to this arrest. As I watch this press conference, I note the professionalism involved. I appreciate how they explained in detail the process they'll follow and when further information might be released. Their transparency and communication is something all can learn from.
So sad to have such a brutal killer in the midst of people who just want to go about living and enjoying all that life has to offer. My God grant peace and comfort to the parents and families of those innocent victims. Thanks to the excellent work done by the law enforcement departments for bringing this heinous killer into custody!

At a gas station I think? It may have been spotted in more than one place, but I recall reading a news story recently that it was at a gas station on CCTV footage.
My belief is that one of the victims was targeted. The killer entered the first room and stabbed the 2 sleeping victims in the bed. He realized neither of them was his intended victim, so he went upstairs or downstairs to the 2nd BR where he stabbed the 2nd pair of victims and got the person he was hunting for. He then left the house which is why the other roommates were not harmed. He had already gotten what he came for.

I understand that they can’t say that much at this time but they are still asking the public for information/tips and I think if they gave us a bit more info then they would probably get more useful tips because the public would be able to connect more pieces together and bring forth something useful for law enforcement

I would like to know who is in the car with him. They should be looking at the turnpike cameras in the DOT cameras up and down the highway which they probably are to confirm if there was anybody in the car when it headed back to Pennsylvania.

@Lena Monroe I think it was related to the white Hyundai car that was seen around the time of the murders at a nearby gas station. I guess LE and probably the FBI managed to locate it maybe through a tip sent in from someone. The car was parked at the suspect's parents' house in PA and swat team showed up. This was in a recent news story.
