  • We just got back home from an amazing 4 day stay at Camp Wood, TX. We stayed at Camp Wood RV and Cabin Resort located off of the Nueces River. There is no water that compares to the clarity and quality of this spring-fed river! The campground has incredible cleanliness and you're allowed two tents per tent site. Because mine was on top of my Jeep, mine did not count. Amenities included water, and electricity, bathrooms with showers, swimming pool with splash pad, 300-yard golf range, pickleball (whatever that is) playground, basketball, and volleyball courts. Check out the video for all our activities and some incredible scenery to send us back home.

The frio is being damaged more every year! Where should we start people build houses and house needing more water for the house. Don't forget the trash people leave and people going to the bathroom in the river. I pray people don't start going there and causing the same damage!

@@adventure_48 A shame we can't take all that flood water from the I-45 area north of Houston and pipe it to the Hill Country and west Texas. that would make for a great infrastructure project. Same thing nation wide.

I live and work throughout the Hill Country and I can tell you most of those spots that were so picturesque in your video are dry or close to dry and somewhat dangerous due to Naegleri fowleri.
