I originally started making a second video about Down Air but the script was so long that I decided to condense it to just a video about footstool setups. I don't believe I've missed out on any combo routes but if I have, don't hesitate to say. I hope you enjoy and learn something =]

Falling Up Air to Up Air takes 35 frames of hitstun whereas Up Air to Footstool takes 36. This means that it's better to use Up Air to Up Air against heavies early on if you decide to go that combo route. I reaaaaalllly love how you covered character weight and height limitations and went over hitstun requirements, as well as covering the timing on that damn mid-combo drag down fair. Also, it makes me happy to see footstool firefox getting so much use :') good job!

Skarfelt, I'd really like to know what the stick inputs of Fox's extended dash dancing sound like. Probably would help a lot with the timing. Would you consider maybe recording it? You seem really good at it.

This video is hella good. Your research into Fox is amazing and I can't wait to see all this in play. I was just wondering though, how does smash DI affect the fair footstool? If your opponent succesfully SDIs out, can you still get a footstool in time?
You can't SDI the first hits of Fair as far as I know!

For those of you who don't understand how to do the Down Air/DAIR When doing it you don't do it straight away attacking first jump above the opponent maybe like higher by 25 cm?
Then do the Down Air/DAIR When you are above the opponent then quickly fastfall which will allow the opponent to go up then double jump extremly fast and then do the footstool
following up by 3 Neutral Air/NAIR then into a Forward Air/FAIR Spike With the last Thing being a footstool if your opponent Jumps really high Like Bayonneta or something
Try To attempt doing A Double FootStool If Not Triple (NEVER DONE BEFORE MAYBE?? CORRECT ME PLEASE)

can we expect optimizing fox videos for ultimate? ultimate's been out for a while and there really isn't much in the way of these advanced tech tutorials and showcases for fox (not really much for most characters tbh, but i've been mostly looking for fox).
to be clear, I saw your bread and butter combos video for fox and that was definitely really helpful for getting my feet under me when I started ultimate, but I'm hungry for more you know?
I've talked about it a bit on Twitter, but Fox is just ... very very boring in this game. He has way less to optimise and talk about I think. I am still interested in eventually making content for him, but I can't say when that will be exactly. Sorry =[

Is there a character that gets you excited in ultimate? I just like learning about characters and practicing combos and setups. Would you mind recommending anything for me?
@@bonzwah1 Personally I really enjoy labbing Sheik, I did a video about her recently and you can see some of the movement tech she can do. She has really cool combos as well, they're just harder and less rewarding than other characters lol. But I enjoy her a lot which is the main thing.

Hey Skarfelt, I was just wondering, when you do footstool to firefox, you usually go up. Wouldn't it be more efficient and safer to do a soft angle along the ground or just go straight down for the least vulnerability?
Depends on the character - some pop up so much that you can't hit them with anything but up angled. Otherwise, you should just go down.
But what if I just go Kirby and up tilt chain you?
Could you possibly consider doing something on all the crazy options Fox gets out of leg drop shine turn around, like auto cancel back air, instant stand onstage, wall jump shenanigans and more. Also I don't know how true this is because I've only done it on cpu's, but on dk I've been able to link landing down air to reverse f-tilt to d-air to reverse f-tilt to unleash around 70%. Ps. you remind me of Had$.

hey that last video about the falling through the platform for faster attacks, how do you buffer that if you cant buffer a shield?
I'm not sure how buffering itself works but if you do it correctly, the shield won't come out at all
