More about the show: In the high-tech gold rush of modern Silicon Valley, the people most qualified to succeed are the least capable of handling success. Showrunners Mike Judge (Office Space, Beavis & Butthead, King of the Hill) and Alec Berg (Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm) have teamed up to satirize Silicon Valley in this award-winning comedy now airing its fourth season.

I agree, except the comedy part. They tried and failed.
It's incredible how funny these guys are on their own - it's made me gain a newfound respect for them as you never know who's coming up with the jokes - the writers or the actors. I'm guessing they contributed a lot to the screenplay (improvisations). It shows here.

I revisit this show every two months. I get this sinking feeling in my heart at the season finale EVERY SINGLE TIME. Poor Richard came so close to success, but, lost it for a greater cause. Amazing show. KUDOS! to the writers.

I could see how you'd see that. That being said Kumail is a stand-up comedian and he probably gets in "stand-up" mode when he talks to live audiences...you should check his stand-up out he's hilarious.

I like how Zach points out the dynamics of the characters. I think that's what the story is missing a bit. They have to mix up the combos sometimes. I really liked the bit with Monica and Erlich or Gavin and Richard. Dinesh-Gilfoyle or Jared-Richard is gold, but mixing em up and then having em go on weird adventures could be surprising.

I saw Jing Yang's stand up comedy when he came to chico state. He is a chinese American and doesnt have a chinese FOB accent at all in real life. He speaks fluent english. He was kind of an ass. He was attacking me saying I was looking high. Embarrassed me in front of a big audience. I wasnt even high tho.

the interviewer is amazing, she deserves a lot of credit for conducting this interview and just letting them make it funny as hell..also she was being very chill about the roasting and not taking anything personally ( I mean, since she represented Google ) I actually think that it made Google even more cool, like when u mock someone and they get all angry and defensive vs someone that laughs and goes along with it...I really enjoyed the interview and actually watched it many times...love the Silicon Valley, one of the best and funniest shows ever

Gilfoyle is my favourite comedic character since Cartman. Him and Dinesh made the show as far as I'm concerned, although everyone in it was fantastic.
💗 Martin Starr so much. It looks like he’s as laid back as Gilfoyle IRL. I’ve been in love with him since Party Down, where he basically played the same type of character, in terms of energy (or lack there of) but there he played a waiter. I really have to rewatch that show, lol!
