Morph was created by in 1976 and featured in Take Hart with the artist and presenter Tony Hart. This is Morph's first ever TV appearance from the first episode of Take Hart which was broadcast on BBC1 on 15 Feb 1977 at 17:15.

Wow, this gold. I used to love morph. Particularly used to like it when they went through the table to a different room/ place underneath. Tony Hart is a legend.
The quality and imaginativeness of the animation is quite extraordinary.

When I was a kid, I was sure I could understand what he was saying. For example, when he goes into his wooden pencil case to sleep (which is so adorable), when Tony says "Goodnight" Morph says, "And don't let the bed-bugs bite!"

Such a classic! I remember watching this videos with friends like 4 years ago even though we are no even 18! I love Morph.

It takes me back to when I watched Tony as a kid - totally enjoyed the program and always waited for Morph's bit!
