The “pears” in your pedestal bowl are called Meadowbrooke or drinking gourds (a small bulb appearance over a larger bulb) Those shaped like pears are indeed called pear gourds. The gourds shaped similar to pears but come straight up to to a point at the top are called Birdhouse gourds or Martin House gourds. But all of them are pretty much the same color.
