Dancing on Air at Danceland in Sackatchewan

Once checked into our accommodation in Watrous, in Saskatchewan, Canada, a bit of exploring was in order. We were intrigued by the historic dance hall at Manitou Beach named Danceland. It was built in 1928 during the heyday of Big Band Music and the increasing popularity of new dances. It's dance floor floats on a bed of horse hair and is only 1 of 2 dance floors like this that exists in Canada.
