Recorded this bus on the Bx29 ( Co-Op City - Pelham Bay Park Station - City Island ) back in December 2008. Detroit Diesel Series 50EGR engine & Allison B400R transmission.

@Kote12TK The original engine in this bus was the 6V92TA engine....Back in like 2000 or something it was changed (repowered) to a DD50 EGR engine!

That's an awesome sound only when the air brake parking is push to drive or reverse just like the F.D.N.Y. trucks of 1997-2003 Seagrave Engines and Squads of the Detroit Diesel Series 50EGR only on the when the air parking break is Drive and Reverse

yeah i love the way these 100/200s sound. Do they still have any left in the bronx or have most of them moved to queens ? Do they still have those 6000s down in Staten Island ?

I have one of those Sony Minidisc Recorder and that T-shaped microphone. Sony discontinued the production of minidisc recorder. However, you can find them on ebay.

There's very few 100/200s around the Bronx and Queens, and the 6000s are in the Bronx, Queens, and Staten isalnd.....We gotta chill!!!
