You should check out Versailles Faith and Decision live with English Subtitles. This is a long song and the vocals begin about half way through. Very musically complex song, excellent for analyzing.
You like anime you got to check out Lovebites Winds of Transylvania Vlad Love version. Vlad Love was an anime they wrote the theme song for, and this version has scenes from the show intermixed with their music video for the song.

And for the pokemon smash or pass... Well... All I will say is my top 3 might be Machamp, Tsareena and Primarina. I don't know what that said about me, they're not the only ones but I have several pass too lol.
