    Sir yung Rhomax po na given. Dba po ba pwwde icompare sa RhoActual para maccheck kung SRB or DRB

    Good Day Sir, ask ko lang po kung pedeng gamiting pang check if SRB or DRB yung rho max na binigay po sa problem then icocompare ko po sa rho actual po na makukuha using As/bd po? Kasi po same principle lang po sya sa As max na kapag lumagpas po yung value ay gagamitin na yung compression bars pero kapag mas mababa sa As max po yung value ay nagyield na po yung bakal natin. Ayun lang po Sir!

      Same question lodi. May discrepancy lang ung mga values pero based dun e. Nagyield padin at useless na magdagdag ng bakal.

    Sir what if yung P is greater than Pmax conclusion is steel does not yield, possible pa po ba namen na macompute yung balance condition and maximum condition ng Moment capacity? Or ang final answer po is re-design/DRB? Thanks sir in advance!

    Sir, same lang po ng makukuhang answers sa a and Mn gamit ang nscp 2010/2015 no? Kasi yung B1, for checking lang naman po if SRB or DRB. Tama po ba same answers lang?

    Sir what if analysis, we're given the beam properties as well as tensile area of steel, (no compression bars given), before analyzing do we need to check the actual rho, to minimum and maximum steel ratio before proceeding? for example, the actual rho is less than the minimum steel ratio, are we going to modify the As using the rho min, or are we going to use the as is area of steel? thank you!

    Sir bkit nineneglect ung compression bar kpg actual rho is less than rho max?

      Kapag yung actual rho ay mas maliit sa rho max, ibig sabihin nag yield na si tension steel. Ang purpose kasi ng compression bars natin ay i-yield yung tension steel kapag nagiging overreinforced sya. Gusto kasi natin lagi nagyiyield yung tension steel kasi yun ang safe na design. Pero since underreinforced na kagad siya nung chineck mo pa lang yung rho (therefore nagyield na yung bakal), wala ng magiging purpose yung compression bars mo. Bale panglito lang yan ng examiner natin.

    sir bakit nag Asmax = 0.75Asbal? formula based ba yan or ina analyze? and paano nalaman na nag yield ang Asbal = 3519.663, meron po ba yang limit na sinusunod?

      formula base po para makuha yung Asmax. Bali po sa una palang inassume na nya yung fs na nag yield po. Kumbaga po hindii na sya assumption true yield na sya kasi binalance na sa una palang.

      Area ng bakal sa tension side then multiply sa 4 which is kung ilang bakal sya

    (.75)(.85)(f'c)(betasub1)(600)/(600+fy)(fy)
    pde kaya yan pag nakuha na po ung rho max i multiply lang ng bd tas un na ung asmax? pde po kaya yan pang check?
